What would you do? ( to "Potter" or not...)

I am kicking myself for missing the 99.00 7 day special. (I was one day too late.)

Anyway, I would like to do a Universal trip this November, since I have not been there for years but the cost is just pushing me back to Disney. With the room only PIN discount, & free transportation Disney prices are hard to beat. ( and hard not to use a pin when you get one.)

Universal options:
One day on-site, one day car renta,l and two day base ticket. I am guessing to be about 550.00 for 2 adults? ( but is that enough days since I have not been in about 9 years?) Then maybe do a few days at Disney.

Or I could get a week at a cheap timeshare,two Uni season passes and car for about for about 800.00? But will I see as much in two days with FOL as I do in a week with out it?

Which would you do?


Or I could do the Disney value 40% off pin code and just do Disney for a week and hope the Universal 99.00 special comes back next year?

Or try to do a mix? I have a 3 day Disney ticket I have not used.

Since you've already done Disney, why not do a Universal trip?

I think 3 days would be plenty to see the Universal parks if you go in November. With lower crowds, you won't need to worry about front-of-line access, either.

So stay a week and rent a car, you could also go to Sea World, The Kennedy Space Center or some other Florida sites that you'll miss when held captive on Disney property.

And if you really miss Disney, you could also go to a Christmas party for one evening.

We do both resorts but we stay offsite. Not having FOL is normally manageable at Universal but I'm not sure what to expect with Harry Potter opening. I guess that we'll all find out.
