What would you do? Poly for only one night?

We currently have reservations at ASMu Family Suites for 4 nights. However, I can't stop thinking about the Poly. Should we transfer to the Poly for only one night? It would be our last night before flying home.

Snubie,
One night at the Poly is better than none. (I had to edit myself as an anti flaming measure) If you could swing it, you should shoot for two days. One is just not enough. You will hate yourself when you have to leave with just one day. Not everyone feels the same way about the Poly (or any other resort) as I do, but if your like me and thousands of othe Poly lovers, they will drag you out of the Poly kicking and screaming. Go, enjoy, and try not to make too big a scene when you leave! :boat: :rockband: :boat:

That would be a great way to relax and wind down after the main part of your vacation.

I really would LOVE to stay there. I have such fond memories of a trip there in 1985 (I was only 11 yo). I may just do the one night as a surprise to DH.

We have PSs at Ohanas for breakfast the morning I would like to transfer so that would work out well.

Tough decision.

I'll go with the other poster, try to get 2 nights, one is hardly enough to get the feel of the resort. By the time you check in and settle, try the pool you'll be sleeping and headed out.

We were huge fans of the Poly, but prices ahve driven us away, unless a super code comes out, our next fav is WL. We prefer the MK resorts and like the lakes all around, plus the boats to FW. cheapest of the deluxes in that area is WL. Pol holds a special place for us, we've had many stays there and the beach and pool are fantastic, that was during DD college program discount days. Enjoy the resort and try not to make a huge fuss when you have to leave, deluxes get into your bones and is hard to shake.

It would not be worth it for one night, IMO. Neither would I do a split stay with only 2-days each. Stick with ASMu and do the Polynesian when you have more money to spend.

I agree with the other posters that one night wouldn't be enough. Try two nights if at all possible.

PS: May I also recommend the WL for two nights? The rates are usually lower than Poly's, but it is another excellent resort! :)

Would you really recommend staying at ASMu for 2 nights and then going to the Poly for 2 nights? I think the OP would waste a lot of time packing and moving between resorts on such a short stay! Not to mention doing it all with a 2-year old!

As much as I love the Poly I would never do that-even for 2 nights. It would take a lot of time to repack and check in. I would rather spend the last night of a short trip getting every possible second in the parks or even relaxing but not packing up and changing resorts.
