What would you do? Need advice..

We've got our reservations at Pop Century for Nov 27-Dec 3rd. However, now we'd like to add one extra day, Nov 26th. Pop is booked for that day. So is nearly everything else we could afford at Disney. Here are our choices....

Stay at SOG (they had rooms available at my last checking) for that one night for about 100/nt.

Book the Carribean Beach that was available for that one night for about 140.

Or Priceline it for a hotel outside of Disney for just that one night.

Knowing the parks will be packed on that Friday and Saturday after Thanksgiving we're planning to stay away from them those days. We'll just use those two days to see Downtown Disney and lounge around our hotel pools. We'd also like to see a bit of some of the other resorts, just take a peek inside AK, Poly, etc, to look around. I realize if we Priceline it and are staying offsite that one night we won't be allowed to do the resorts on Friday.

OK, so with this info, what would ya'll do? Oh, btw, it's me, dh, dd7, and dd2.

Book CBR but keep trying for the 26th, call, call, call you may get lucky!!!!

If that is your arrival day. When are you coming in? Airline? Driving? Stay outside park if you are not coming in early and don't have "Car" issues. If you are relying on Disney Transportation then I would stay at the cheapest Disney resort so they can move over your stuff to your Pop century resort on the 27th.

Does SOG transfer bags and stuff to POP? Anyone know? IF so I would go with that if you are entitled, use it. I hear the updated resort is beautiful.

I would do SOG or CBR. But dont give up on PC, keep trying. Remember the best time to check is around the 5 day cancellation date. The more you call the better you chances you will get a cancellation.

They usually have disney resorts maybe even pop
