What would you do? Mk shoot

At the moment we have the Magic Kingdom photo session booked for the morning of our wedding. (I think it's 7.30am). We marry at SBP at 12pm, after which we are going to hang about the boardwalk for a bit and then go back to our parents' resorts in DTD (they are all staying in the Marriott). Here, I am changing into a second dress ready for our ADR's at CRT @ 7pm.

There are evening EMH that night so MK is open late. Do you think I should just take the opportunity, while dh and I are still semiformal (make up, hair still done, dh still in suit etc...) to take some photos our selves outside the castle during EMH. we only really want the castle shot anyway...

I voted both....I would hate to see you regret not doing the personal shoot...there will be people in the backround im sure at the other time..

It depends on how tight your budget is. Would it be better, moneywise, to cancel the MK shoot for now?
Remember that being a DFTW bride, you have the option of doing the shoot, fully attired, a year or so later if you wish.
I think if I were in your position, I would take some pictures as planned at the MK EMH in the second dress and schedule a MK portrait session in my wedding attire, for a later date. Maybe when the FL renovations are complete and you can have dark/dawn light photos done again, would be good. That way you get the best of both worlds and it is an excuse to plan another trip

I don't think the people in the background will bother us.... Mind you I guess it depends how many people....

We've not committed any money for the shoot yet, so we can hold out until the last min. I don't think there would be any hope of us returning within a year. This trip is going to be it for a couple of years I think

I keep talking myself in and out of it, with a similar list of pros/cons : I can't see us doing both, if we do the early morning we will be too tired to hang around until EMH in the evening. I'd want to wait until then so that the wishes crowd has cleared.
