What would you do? Longer stay or ?

Ok so we're checking into the BC on Sept 7 and checking out on the 14 (as of now). Well right now we've got booked and paid for a 6 day package with waterparks and more. Today out of the blue I realized as of now we only need 3 day waterparks and more. So I can just change the 6 day into a 3 day waterparks and more and get a refund of around $200 for the difference or I can add a night on to our stay and pay OOP about another $400 that includes 4 day waterparks and more, DXDP and airfare change (for some reason flight is about $65 more total for us to fly on Sunday). Would you add the night on or just save the $$$ toward a future trip?

The water parks option is an entire stay option - so if you buy a 3 day ticket with water parks, you have 3 park days and 3 water park days. This would work for a 6 day trip, but only if you only want to be in the parks for 3 of your 6 days. We added the water park option to our 6 day park hopper tickets because it was inexpensive even though we only used it once. I just wanted to clarify because I couldn't tell if you thought you could get a 6 day ticket and 3 day water park ticket. My kids would have a hard time only being in the parks for 3 days, but if your family is huge water park fans than it would work for you. I also don't know if you have a package, like free dining, where you have to buy a certain amount of days ticket to qualify for it. Hope this helps

I'm a bit confused. As of right now you have 6 day MYW +WP&F tickets but are planning on spending 3 full days in the waterparks, correct? You can certainly change your tickets to 3 day MYW + WP&F but cannot do 6 day MYW + 3 day WP&F. The waterparks option must be for the entire length of your MYW tickets.

No we're right now only doing MK, Epcot, & HS one day each, then waterparks we're only doing 2 days. I'm just trying to decide if adding an extra night on to our package giving us another full day to do either AK or another park is worth the $400.

Yes I know waterparks are for entire length of stay but we don't need more than a 3day MYW with waterparks and more added on as it is right now, hope that clarifies.
