What would you do? BC Studio or BC standard concierge ...

compared to a conceirge room. I have 3 small children. Would you recommend that we stay in a studio or a standard concierge room? Would love to stay in something bigger, but can not afford it. We stayed in a concierge at the YC a few yrs ago and had a wonderful experience, BUT we had only 2 children then- This will be the 1st time the 5 of us are going to Disney.

Sorry I can't answer your question specifically, but if you post over on the DVC board, lots of those members can answer questions about the studio. Also, we are renting points from a DVC owner for a studio and depending on when you are going, you might be able to do the same and stay in a one bedroom at BCV or BWV to have the extra room. Renting our points we were able to get a studio for about $150 a night. There is a rent/trade board here too that you can look at. I know they are filled for Dec, but some other times might be available and this might be another option for you.

Diane, I can tell you that when I stayed at the YC last Nov with my 3 sons, the concierge lounge was a life saver. We really never were all in the room togather at one time, but to sleep. We enjoyed the balcony and made good use of the concierge lounge.

A studio at Beach Club Villas has a maximum of 4 plus 1 child under 3. There is a queen bed and a double sleeper. I think a room at the Beach Club would be better with 3 kids, you would have 2 queens and most also have a daybed.

I agree with DebbieB about the studio beds, but you may find renting points to allow you to get a bigger unit. We are renting points in september for a studio. It's $120/night (sunday-thursday), no tax. A regular BC room would probably be around $190 including tax, if a good discount was available.
