I'm doing maths in money and time expenses.

So, here are my options.
I'll be booking SL for 6 nights in the end of March 2013.
I get 870Eur for Montana room and 687Eur for room not in the main building.
Now, the flight. I get a flight to Beauvais for around 450Eur and flight to CDG for 560Eur.
RS gives me price for shared shuttle from CDG 98Eur and from beauvais 170Eur.

So how would you travel? No matter which flights I choose I would have to spent extra night in a cheap hotel :)

Thanks for all the help.

So the difference is 221€ by going to Beauvais and staying in one of the lodge rooms ?

I wouldn't go to Beauvais as it's a longer transfer than CDG and a smaller airport which has more flights cancelled etc.

There are always more options at CDG even if people don't like it.

What are your flight times and correspondances like, do you have much waiting around on your travel days ?

As all the rooms are now renovated I'd take the cheaper option and ask if I could be nearer the main building - they can always note it on your booking request

And I'd fly into CDG for the reasons above ^^ :goodvibes

ps - nice to see you back and I'm enjoying the TR :flower3:

thanks Carrie_Cat, I promise to finish it.. someday :rotfl:
And no problems accessing the pool and getting to breakfast area?
Basically, no waiting times. Those are direct flights (yay). I do arrive at 17:15 in CDG (so a night in Kyriad or so). On the other hand flight back home is at 11.55am, so this means an extra night in cheap hotel, or a 5 night stay in DLP. Beauvais flight lands at 22.30 and departs 16.40, so I do think I would need 2 extra nights anyway...

Definitely would do CDG as the transfer from Beauvais is so long and you won't be at your hotel until 00.30 at the earliest after taking immigration and baggage claim into account (30 mins minimum) plus 1h30 transfer.

Infact you did this last time non ?

Breakfast shouldn't be any different wether you are in the main building or in a lodge - Do they not do the VIP breakfast pass at SL if you are staying more than 5 nights ? and then you would be very well looked after :thumbsup2

I don't know how anyone goes to the pool - will have to look next time I go - but it seems to be a separate building not attached to the main building anyway :confused3 and it is open to all guests so there must be easy access

I did stay in kyriad last time. So at the moment the plan has changed a bit. As we have to stay for 2 nights due to flight times, we'll stay in DLP 5 nights instead of 6. But we'll have full 6 days that should cover my disney apetite. Sounds great!

I would fly to CDG aswel and stay in the cheaper option at the SL. The pool is in one of the lodges and is a nice pool. Happy planning and nice to see you back :thumbsup2

I missed you too. But after I got back from DLP it got soooo busy the time is just flying.
And I do have a feeling that 6 night trip to DLP was just what I needed.
Anyway, planing is going good. And I will be booking soon. And getting a ticker :cool1:
