I'm serious. If Walt was still alive and right here, right now he'd tell them for sure not to close VMK.:mickeyjum :mickeyjum
But I'm sure he'd be proud of all of us for fighting the power.
Cause we all got the Disney spirit!:cheer2: We can't give up!

... Well why don't we unfreeze him and find out!

But yeah, Go Disney Spirit!!

Very sorry to say....Walt had wonderful dreams, but he was a poor business man/financial analyst. Had it not been for his brother and the many others who helped Walt realize his dream, the Walt Disney Corporation would have went belly-up a long time ago.

But that is the beauty of it! Attempting to bring magic into people's lives can't be about money. Yes, Walt would have been broke and many a Mousketeer would have never come to be. But he had a dream. That may sound trite, but I personally could use a few more people in the world trying to bring it some magic. Inferno or otherwise :)

You win... like... the game. Though most people think VMK is not one of those games in which there is ONE winner, I know otherwise.

You... just won it. Congratulations.

"Disneyland will never be completed. It will continue to grow as long as there is imagination left in the world."

This is the beauty in it! Walt Disney never wanted the work of his company to be done. Things are always evolving and changing at Disney. New attractions replace old classics. Imagine being an Imagineer and spending many many hours designing a new shop for Magic Kingdom only to be told that somebody else's design will be used. A lot of great Disney ideas never make it off the sketch pad. Thankfully, VMK did make it off of the sketch pad and became a reality for almost three years. Now, like Yavn said, it is time for something else. Disney is all about celebrating the past and looking forward to the future. I know there is some talk about boycotting Disney, but I think that the best is yet to come.

I know I'll miss VMK, but I think Walt would be excited about being able to direct energy toward a new project.
