Unfortunately, as Nee just stated, there are a few cantakerous posters out there. Just ignore them--that's what I do, and certainly don't feel you have to justify the fact that you are looking to save money--your question is a valid one. Please don't let snotty posts keep you from hanging around here--just ignore, ignore. You'll be happier person if you do. Anyhoooo, I just had a suggestion for you--have you considered Wilderness Lodge? From what I understood on your original post, I thought you liked POFQ because of its small resort size? It is one of the least expensive deluxe resorts and it might be nice to be there at Christmas! We really enjoyed our stay there--the location was perfect, there was a lot of recreation, and everything was nice and contained. The other moderates are fabulous too if you decide you want to stay in that price range. Let us know what you decide!

What I do see a lot lately is people, saying ,what do you think?, and when people share what they think others think they are being harsh. Again it's just someone's opinion as to whether anyone was harsh, personally I do not see it. I think some are way to sensitive.

As my grandfather would say, "if you can't take the heat don't come into the kitchen.

I know that the OP is trying to figure cost, which is fine, but I think he is counting his chickens before they hatch.

The only advice I have is wait and see, anything before that is just second guessing. No one on these boards will be able to tell you what will be offered to you.

Determine what the maximum you can spend and be comfortable with the amount. When Disney contacts you then you will have decide if you can afford the upgrade to a deluxe (if offered) or take another moderate at the same price.

I for one would take Wilderness Lodge if offered due to the time of year you are coming. It's beautiful then. Good luck with your planning.
