I used transfers for light shirts on a dark (say black) shirt? I have thrown away so many transfers today, I don't want to make any more mistakes!

My brain is telling me nothing would show up on the black but my brain has been wrong before. I've never tried it before. Hopefully someone who has a definative answer will come along shortly...

...(some help I am)...

So where do you draw the line--what is considered "dark"? I thought I was doing so well and now I think I have to reprint half of my transfers! AHHHH!

The easiest way to think of it is this: The light transfers do not have any white in them. So all areas of your design that were white will be clear. So if your design had a white Mickey head (for example) and you put it on a black shirt the white head would now be black - the color of the shirt. If there is NO white in the design at all - you can use light transfers on any color shirt.

Does that make sense?
