What would each Disney royal couple name their kids? With the exception of Ariel and Eric, we don’t really know. So I’m asking you fellow Disboards, what would each name their kids? Also which Royal couple would be the strictest parents and which the most lenient?

If Belle had ended up with Gaston, it would be like George Foreman all over again! Gaston Jr., Gaston Jr., and little Gaston Jr. too.

Probably even if they were girls . . .

Good thing she ended up with the Beast instead. I think they would use names out of her favorite books.

There’s some really good fan fiction where Gaston and Belle marry and he completely changed into a kind and respectful person. In those stories Belle named some of her kids after mostly storybook characters. So maybe you’re right.

I will hazard a guess for Cinderella, who I will assume her last name to be Charming, since that’s what the prince was referred to in the story. They would have a boy and a girl with alliterative names Charles and Charlotte.

Good names. Prince Charming’s real first name is Christopher Henry by the way. That’s how Disney justified calling him Kit in 2015.

That's so unlikely, they may as well replace Gaston altogether.

The Descendants has some of their kids. It mostly focuses on the villain's offspring, but dome ot the heroes had kids too.

Bell & Beast's kid is named Ben.
Aurora & Phillip's daughter is Audrey
Chad Charming is Cinderella and Charming's kid
Lonnie is Mulan and Shang's
Gaston apparantle has a kid named Gil, though it didn't say who the mother was

I did have to look these up as I have never watched the movies. They always did look kind of interesting to me though -they have a nice style, though I am unsure about the songs.

He learned from his mistakes in those stories (some very well written). He changes before she decides to marry him in most stories. They mostly show her giving him the chance to date her.

That's the thing about Gaston - he's not exactly "evil." He's kind of a haughty, self-absorbed jerk, but he is also the alpha male and protector of the town. He really does see the Beast as a threat - to him and the townsfolks, he's horrifying! Gaston does kinda think he can just have anything he wants, but he's also probably been told that for his entire life. Having Maurice committed and using that as leverage over Belle was a pretty dirtbag move though.

In his original non Disney origin story he is a morally straight nobleman who goes after the beast because his fiancé was kidnapped by him. In the 2017 remake, he is a French war veteran of the War of Austrian Succession suffering from PTSD in 1752. If PTSD was better dealt with in the 18th century, he probably would have been less aggressive and more mellow (heck Belle may have felt bad for him too).
