Walt Disney passed away in 1965 (48 years ago). According to a website these were the rides at Disneyland at the time of his death

Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln
Electric Cars
Babes in Toyland Exhibit
Jungle Cruise
Swiss Family Treehouse(Now called Tarzan's Treehouse)
Enchanted Tiki Room
Dumbo
Safari Shooting Gallery
Columbia below decks museum exhibit
Mine Train through Nature's Wonderland
Pack Mules through Nature's Wonderland
Snow White Grotto
America the Beautiful
Art of Animation
Flying Saucers

So of all the attraction at WDW, he would only have been familiar with 4 (3,4,5,6 on the list).

If Walt were to be familiar with the cartoon movies that came out since his passing (his last movie was Jungle Book) which do you think would be Walt's top 10 attractions?

My guess
  1. Kilimanjaro Safari - He loved nature
  2. American Adventure - Patriotic, by the animtronics
  3. Hall of the Presidents - Lincoln
  4. Twilight Zone tower of terror - TZ was on TV for 5 years almost until his death.
  5. Seven Dwarfs Mine Train -Snow White made the company.
  6. Philarmagic - A tip of the cap to Fantasia and the original characters.
  7. Great Britain - Close to his vision of Epcot and see Mary Poppins
  8. Be our Guest - Only movie nominated for best picture
  9. Main Street USA
  10. Walt Disney Museum at DS.

carousel of progress. According to things I have read that show was all his idea and he loved it. I love it to.

actually I believe he passed away in 1966 at age 65.

I think you will find on closer examination that there were many, many, many more attractions that Walt would have seen open at Disneyland than those that you have listed. I'm curious as to why you haven't mentioned all of them.
Off the top of my head, the Fantasyland Theatre, Autopia, Astro-Jets, Golden Horseshoe Review, the Monorail (not strictly a Disneyland park attraction), Mainstreet Horse drawn Surreys, Penny Arcade, Mark Twain Riverboat, the Carrousel, the Mad Tea Party, Mr. Toad's Wild Ride, Peter Pan, Sleeping Beauty's Castle, Snow White's Adventures, Rocket to the Moon, Casey Jr Circus train, 20,00 Leagues under the Sea. I know I've missed some.

However, I think it's all moot. Walt was nuts for trains. You didn't even mention the Railroad. That would have been his favourite. As for the other 9? Couldn't say.

Matterhorn was also open before his death and pirates if the caribbean was nearing completion so that almost counts

I think he would have enjoyed the classics like Dumbo, the mine train, Winnie the Pooh, Enchanted Tales with Belle etc. But I think he would be happy with everything Disney World has become
