What would be easier to get?

We're looking to do a split stay and use our developers points starting the Sat before Thanksgiving at either BWV, BCV, WLV, or AKV. We'll have 6 people, so our original plan was to book a 2 bedroom. But, we have enough points that we could book two 1-bedrooms if thats easier to get. Any input, which would be easier? And which resort would be easier to try for. Out of those 4, we really don't have a preference. Thanks!

I hate to be the bearer of bad tidings, but I think that any of those resorts may be tough to book for pre-Thanksgiving at this late date, but it sure doesn't hurt to try. If the new AKV Kidani happens to open way ahead of schedule, that might be a possibility. Otherwise you may have better luck at SSR or OKW. Good luck!

Hmm, ok. it would have been nice if I could have booked the developers points when we got them, but oh well. So, do you think that Saratoga may have availability? And just waitlist one of the others? I'm not familiar w/Saratoga at all but it looks huge. Are you able to request a certain area? If so, is one better than another?

We flew in Sat. before Thanksgiving last year and noticed it was alot busier than 2006, even SSR. We don't find SSR too big, but we are a very active family. Personally we like to stay at Congress Park area as we are only about 10 min walk from DTD. And the quiet pool is huge at CP and usually we'll have it to ourselves.

I asked about doing the 7 months switch last year when I was booking VB for Easter and the person at MS laughed at me.;) I think there was some availability Sat-Mon, but starting Tuesday everything was booked(BCV,BWV and VWL). I'm not a split stay person so I said forget it. Looking for a 2br.

I've gotten VWL and BCV at off times no problem(first weekend of May and a 4day MLK trip).
