We will be going in Dec and thanks to an idea I saw on this board, our room will be in the holiday spirit! I love the idea of taking a small Christmas tree (with disney ornaments of course!) especially since my parents are meeting us there and driving and they volunteered to bring the tree. :rotfl:

I also plan to bring stockings and put small gifts in each day-- so far i have a disposible camera for each princess, glo necklaces, stickers to keep the smallest princess busy and I plan to make a "ticket" for the carriage ride as a surprise for my biggest princess.

What are some of the other great ideas out there?

Not getting to go this year but we have decorated the outside balcony rail with garland. and hung a large red xmas bow on our door, with jingle bells, the kids in the hall would rattle them when they walked by. You can put up a little xmas card with a sign like merry xmas from the smith's etc... , on the door with your decorations. We also strung lights in the room. While at the resorts they have a large mirror in the main rooms by the bed, we usually do that with xmas lights. We even hung cut out snow flakes from the ceiling. Sounds like alot, but it really only took a few minutes and we took everything down before we left. I did not bring anything either, we "winged" it at target, & walmart with our rental car, cause we flew.

Hi, I got this idea from these boards - for Nov/Dec holiday trips, buy a festive scented Glade Plug-In for your hotel room/stateroom. When you get home and use it, it will remind you of your trip.

For our Dec 2003 trip, I bought a Glade Plug-in the shape of a gingerbread man and the scent it came with was gingerbread. We loved it!

I try to find the subtle scents that don't give you a headache and are not detectible after you check out.

Have fun!
