What will you do about ADRs if you get the new dining plan?

Assuming what some people are saying is true -- that more restaurants will be added to the 2008 dining plans as contracts are negotiated and what-not -- where will you make your ADRs? At only the restaurants currently listed in the DP brochures or at others with the hope that they will be added to the DP later this year? (And, no, none of the restaurants are so important to me that I would go there if they aren't ultimately on the DP.)

We are going in late Feb 2008, and doing the basic dining plan. Our ADR window opens up in a few weeks, and I'm in a quandry about where to book my ADRs. :confused3

I'm curious what others with the 180-day window opening up soon are going to do.

We are going in February and finally decided on the DDP, too.

We are making our ADRs based on the restaurants that were included in the 2007 plan. In a month or two when things settle down, I'll check and change ADRs if necessary. I really like the menu section of the DIS, because it has a 2008 DDP Restaurants link so I can check it out quickly :surfweb: .

I am hopeful that few restaurants will really drop DDP now that appetizers are removed.

:)

I added the stuff up too and the new DDP not the deluxe is worth it for us a family of 5 too. I was actually shocked when I did the math. We plan on heading down in March and my window is coming up in September too. I'm going to go by the 2007 plan and hope the others will follow like last year. I can always cancel if they don't get added later on closer to March. I'd rather get in then not by waiting out. :yay:

I am making all ADR's that I want....then I will evaluate wether of not to do the DDP or DDE or just OOP. I am going late March..so I have more time. But I would say a safe bet is that if they are in the DDP in 07 they will be in for 08(this is a savings for the restaurants too).

I have a silly question with the new DDP in08 is tax included or no???

Tax is included, but Gratuity is not (at most restaurants). The HDD and SoA and I think BYB all have gratuity included.

I used the 2007 plan in making my ADRs because we're going in January and were already within the 180 window when the dining plan changes were announced and we booked. I'll change things as needed if some restaurants don't sign on, but I only really expect to have to change one (I'm hoping Fulton's will be on the deluxe plan list, since it is on the premium and platinum plan lists, but I know that's probably wishful thinking; I'll change to Raglan Road or Wolfgang Puck if Fulton's doesn't sign on for the deluxe).
