What will standard view be like?

Hello all,
I just booked a standard view at BLT!! I did it to save points since I am using 2 weekend nights. I know no one knows for sure, but was curious as to what everyone thinks a standard view will be. Maybe if it's so bad I could try a lake view. Either way it will be great! Thanks

Since it is only 11% of the rooms, my best guess is that it is going to be lower floor rooms on the outside of the C shaped buildiing that view the parking lot or Contemporary.

A contemporary view would also mean a monorail view... I know plenty of "little" boys (and a girl or two) who'd this this was the best view of all!

that is my guess too!

the higher one will be lake views.

After looking at pictures of the building, I think some of the value rooms could also be at the ends of the building facing in towards the center of the building. It doesn't look like you could see the lake.

definitely agree - but there is no guaranteed that DVC consider those standard views. If you can see the lake at all - even if the CR is your main view - it will be considered lake view.

at bwv there were several that members complainted about that really should have been standard. but DVC refused to change them.

We will be checking out the standard view. We have Aug 4th and Jan 3-7 std view.

we had a room at boardwalk one time that was looking right straight out in to that little building outside, it wasn't a standard view. Like a wall, right there.

When I called to book I asked for a parking lot view(=standard). The CM told me it could also be a pool view or foliage. I asked for a upper floor and he still said it could be those views as well. Just cross your fingers cause you never know.
