What will happen to character meals?

I know everything is conjecture at this point, but what do you predict will happen to character meals when the parks reopen? Will they be eliminated for the time being because so many people touch the characters? Will the characters parade through the restaurant and dance but not actually meet with families? Will prices go up to account for increased staff needed at buffets and reduced restaurant capacity? Or do you think things will stay largely the same? I am trying to imagine a trip without character meets. With 2 preschoolers who love characters, the absence of character meals may be reason to postpone for us. Thoughts?
