We are expecting closing docs soon. Our broker is Fidelity. We put down a $1000 deposit using a credit card. Will our final payment be $1000 less or do we get the deposit back? I need to move money around and would like to be somewhat accurate.

Yes, your final payment will be the final negotiated price for the points plus the closing costs, minus the $1000 you already paid.

Agree with the above, but just make sure your CC was only charged $1000. When we bought through Fidelity last fall they double charged us at $2000. It actually worked in our favor as they took the full 2k off of our purchase price and we paid less in cash and got a few extra Disney reward dollars.
