What will everyone be planting?

Has anyone decided what you'll planting this year? I like to use flowers and veggiehas that most people don't plant. While I agree there are spots for impatiens and geraniums and such I like more unusual flowers and heirloom veggies. I love a lot of the English Garden flowers. Heliotrope, foxglove, dianthus, hollyhocks.

So what is everyone planting?

For this year, I have already planted wildflowers, green beans, sunflowers, and dahallias.

In March I will be receiving about 40 lily bulbs from one place & quite a few things from other places that I can't recall the names of...Hope I find a place for it all..:rolleyes1

I just picked up some lettuce seed, Asian snowpeas, spinach, swiss chard, and carrots. If all goes well, I won't have much time for a big garden this year.

I love my foxglove. Although I don't have to actually plant them, they are everywhere in my yard. I also love morning glories and astilbe. I'm hoping for two things this year. That I don't have any more groundhogs move in and plow down my garden in a day. And that I can find a different type of flower that will cascade over my retaining wall in the back. Preferably an annual that likes sun/part sun. I've been doing petunias, but last year between the groundhog and some mystery ailment that killed the rest my garden was a far cry from beautiful.

I started my container annuals. I have amaranth, mahogany nasturtium (that loves hot, dry conditions, fofinia, and cascades beautifully), and velvet queen sunflowers.

Well, I'm starting with a new yard that the previous owners did nothing with. In the next few weeks, we'll be adding:

Hydrangea
Shasta daisies
Cannas
Sunflowers
Mini hollyhocks
Astrantia mix
Pink sundrops
Pink delight butterfly bush
Blue wonder butterfly bush
Sweet William
Red coral bells
Bee balm mix
Scarlet bee balm
Liatris mix
Climbing shell plant
Polar giant coneflower
Pink coneflower
Helen dianthus
Tower columbine
Dwarf columbine
Alpha wedding phlox
Verbascum mix
Spirea magic carpet
Sunburst coreopsis
Moonbeam coreopsis
Pink coreopsis
Butterfly blue scabiosa
Ivory peach bellflower

Add to that - DH wants to do a veggie garden, but I said that's all him, so we'll see if it actually gets done!

Anyone want to help me plant??? :rotfl2: :jumping1:

I'm late, just planted some tomato seeds indoors today.

I have 24 azaleas and three oriental magnolias outside waiting to be planted.

I am here in the house hiding from them!
