What will concierge friends miss since they will be with us?

We are traveling on the Dream in a regular cabin, but our friends are trying out concierge this trip. I'm thinking they may miss out on concierge level "stuff" since they will want to be with us and we can't go to their lounge. What are some of the things they will get to experience that we won't?

If they want to hang out with us, it seems like a waste to me to have concierge.

What don't I know about it?

You cannot go to the Concierge Lounge, or Sun deck. You can visit them in their room, and they can order room service (to include you) there.

Any Concierge-specific arrangements (character meets for example) are only for them.

One note, I doubt that you will joined at the hip for the entire cruise. There may be times that they will be able to enjoy their special stuff.

I'm my experience - they will miss very little. You will see less of them than you think. So it might be good to adjust your thinking prior to the cruise about what you will/won't do together.

We've been in this situation a few times with mixed parties and everyone understands going in that those in concierge want to get the value of that upcharge. That's not to say we don't spend time as a group - we spent plenty of time. Meals, shows, activities, ports, etc. but there's also meeting up and snacks in lounge, sun deck, special events, etc that the concierge group still does even when all of the party can't.
