What Will Become of Tomorrow Land?

I second anyone who says that Star Tours belongs in Star Wars land. The fact that them keeping it as a Star Wars ride after Star Wars Land opens is even an area of speculation is almost beyond comprehension to me. While we are at it, why not move the Haunted Mansion to Toon Town and put Indiana Jones on Main Street. Both of those make nearly as much sense given the lay of the land.

If there is a Star Wars land, why on earth would you want a Star Wars ride in a separate part of the park? Makes zero sense from a theming standpoint, a practical standpoint, and even a historical standpoint (Tomorrow Land isn't about Star Wars, it's about the future).

My guess is it gets re-themed to something actually futuristic once Star Wars Land opens, since it isn't feasible to move the attraction at this time.

Plus, isn't the new Star Wars ride supposed to be part flight simulator?? It would be redundant to have two Star Wars Themed rides featuring a similar experience.

I disagree with this sentiment in a couple of different ways. First, SWL is going to be a specific area/planet, so Star Tours doesn't really fit there, as you're boarding a flight and ending up somewhere different in the Star Wars universe. Second, just because something seems like it fits *better* somewhere else doesn't mean it doesn't fit where it is.

I'm sure that's largely due to the fact that Star Wars Land at DHS is more or less enveloping that part of the park. I.E. it won't have to be moved/rebuilt to be in SWL there.
