hello, I have already paid my april trip for me and my son, but now my partner would like to join us. looking at the prices in the site, its gonna cost £150 to add him to the booking, that for hotel new York and 5 days worth of park tickets. (march 31st to april the 4th)

is that an ok price, or would I be cheaper buying him an annual pass and adding him to the room when we check in? I know the annual pass I had last year, once you bought it, you couldn't visit the next day, so that wouldn't be any good for him.

Any ideas or is £150 the best option?

p.s. I thought if he had an annual pass, it could save us money with the discounts :)

P.P.S. when does the current 2 night free deal finish? as if im gonna add him to the booking, I better add him soon if it finishes soon

isn't AP 125 eur (the one you can visit the next day)?

Because that was the price I added when doing the math for our trip.

I would definitely go down the AP route. As you say, even if it works out roughly the same price as adding him to the booking you will still benefit greatly from the discounts you can get with it! :thumbsup2

You can then just pay the room tax for him when you check in (this should be around 5euros).

Was about to post a similar response but Helen hit the nail on the head. Also if you think you'd get back to DLP in the following 12 months maybe get the AP in your own name & give your DP your ticket from the package, that way you could maybe squeeze in an extra trip and offsite is so cheap in comparison. ::yes::

I think the 2+2 and the early booking offer end at different times - one this month and one in October. If you have a look at the DLP website you'll see it on the offer info page.
Also forgot to say. DLRP magic have a great breakdown of each passes benefits and also gives dates for blockouts but I dont think blockouts apply if you are onsite. HTH

Thanks for all your ideas, I like the idea of the annual pass for myself instead haha. which name is that one?

Also I already have an annual pass, the cheapest one, would renewing it save any money? it runs out this November but I wont be there to renew it till our april trip

I wouldn't renew it - 5 months is a lot of time/money to loose as you have to renew it with 4 (?) Weeks? I'd order the next one online and get the next one up if it gives better discounts. And oh, you might have to book *another* trip ;)

how do I order it online?

Before you buy an AP try calling DLP if you haven't and ask how much it'd be to add someone on, last time we called it was only £100 - cheaper than booking an extra person on originally!

gives you a comparison for APs -

http://www.dlrpmagic.com/calendar/annual-passport-blockouts/ gives you all the blockout dates - so for April they should be up soon - I think November at the very latest but I'd imagine sooner.

It depends on what you want?
If you'll drive or need parking - Dream and Fantasy.
All 3 give 10% off CS, TS and buffets.
If you do a fair bit of shopping perhaps go for a Dream pass as it gives 20% off in the shops as opposed to 10% off with the Francilien and Fantasy. And then you wouldn't have to worry about blockout days as the Dream gives 365 days of entrance to the parks. If you buy through CeMultivantages at the min you'd get one for Jonah for €35 too. They charge €20 to join but even if that offers expired they normally do a great offer. Make sure after joining but before buying that you email them to see when the current tickets they hold expire - make sure you get ones that will still be in date for when you'll be there.

But an AP will give you discounts - and the next trip the AP holder can be added again for next to nothing (seriously its a few Euros) and again, there will be discounts with the AP ;)
