Now that we are coming to the end of July Im thinking about our August plans.
DS is in his 2nd wk of Nature's Classroom this week - core subject Natural Science
He has 1 more wk - Aug 11-15 when his core is Physical Science
DS & DH will be going to the Cape Aug 8-10 - I'll have time to myself! What should I do with it?
DS & I are going camping in Maine Aug 16-19

(school starts Sept 2nd for DS - so summer isnt over yet!)

right now my dd's are spending two weeks with their father, so aside from work I'm pretty much a free spirit. I'll probably spend the weekend lounging by the pool and catching up on my reading, unless I decide to take a ride over to the beach -- haven't been there yet this summer.

when the girls come back from their visit with their father they're going back to camp, of course. older dd has a three day trip to Hershey and a four day trip to the Adirondacks in her future. younger dd has a 4 day trip to Lake George and Montreal, and a week of hanging around camp. they get to go on trips, i get to go to work to pay for the trips. ;) :)

I'll probably take a few days off the week before Labor Day to do the back-to-school stuff -- dentist, orthodondist, pediatrician, haircuts, school supply shopping...

I'm almost dreading the end of summer --- two girls in middle school, and a bat mitzvah to plan ...

Sounds like another fun month!

We have a wedding to start off with, a birthday party in the middle, and then a WDW trip the last week. :D

Training for my new job, taking care of DDs and a trip to WDW the last week.

Taking my 6 yr old nephew and 5 year old niece to WDW for a few days in the middle and heading to Costa Rica for about a week and a half with my DH. Very full travel month just like July but that was all work related.

DD will be dancing at the county fair, our wedding anniversary and WDW the last week!:D

The end of August will be busy for us. My middle brother will be visiting from Belgium. He's always welcome since he arrives with lots of chocolate and beer :Pinkbounc My youngest brother, SIL and 2 boys will be visiting as well from CA. All of us will be taking a road trip for a few days to visit extended family in upstate NY as well as our oldest brother in central MA. Then it's DD 4th birthday on the 30th. After that I'm taking a long nap;)

finally! I'm looking forward to August. My husband is an opera singer and he's been in Europe since 6/12. I didn't visit for many reasons, none of which were really good ones now that I think back on it. Anyway, he comes home August 4 and I can hardly wait. So I'll be spending plenty of time with my sweetiepie! Our anniversary is 8/12 and his birthday is 8/15 so some celebrating is in order. We live in NC, not too far from the mountains, so we are going to do a lot of hiking, biking and hanging out on our farm. We have horses, chickens, dogs, cats. Lots of love!

And, who knows, if the DARN AP discounts will come out I'll consider a quickie labor day trip to WDW. We went the last week of May but that seems so long ago.

We start the month with a trip to Mackinac Bridge and Island next week for a few days.

In the middle of the month my Mom take us sisters to a casino in Mt. Pleasant, MI for two nights of gambling and "girls nights out"!!:bounce:

Somewhere towards the end of the month I suppose I need to start thinking school and school shopping. Ugh! School doesn't start til the 2nd of Sept!!

August will be a busy month for us. We start off this weekend with a B-day party for DH's Aunt and Grandmother. Mid-month we head up to Milwaukee for Irish Fest weekend. Labor day weekend see's us going up to the Mall of America. I love these short little trips.

Going to Disney, right around the same time as Credit Man.

We will probably hit the pool at least a couple of times each week, then there is kids Bible study every Friday and at the end of the month a trip to Germany and Lego Land.
