What were your favorite things you got for Christmas?

I mostly received cash and gift cards. A friend got me a pair of cozy fleece pajamas that I really like. My favorite gift is what I bought myself about 3 weeks ago, an iPad Mini. I also have an iPad 4, but I find myself using the Mini more because it's so light and easy to hold.

DD's (age 2 1/2) favorite gift is probably either her Doctor Mommy doll or her Loving Family doll house. She is shunning all of her other new toys in favor of those.

I loved all the Disney stuff I got (charms, tea cup, ornament, pjs)

My favorite silly gift was the Fisher Price Little People Nativity I got. Everytime I get a Nativity set something tragic happens to it so my MIL bought me this virtually indestructible one. Whats funny is I have actually been wanting this one but dident ask for it cuz I figured no one would get me a childs toy.

My absolute favorite though was the bear bride and groom cake topper my DH bought me for our vow renewal this fall. Our original topper was stolen years back. Plus this topper is a souvineer from Great Wolf which thrills me.

i got a dslr camera and some clothes. i picked everything out myself. i like the camera okay, but it's a LOT more difficult to use than i thought-even the book i bought to help me figure out isn't helpful. i guess i didn't get a "wow" gift this year. DD15's favorite gift...i don't know. she liked everything, and she's played a couple of her video games, but she didn't seem at all wowed by her new, VERY expensive clarinet, which is disappointing. she did try it and says it sounds a lot better than her old one.

ETA: i bought DD and i fleece blankets, and, as it turns out, they're VERY warm. LOVE mine. not really a wow, i don't think, but a big thumbs up.

I remember taking time away from Thanksgiving plans to try to give you advice regarding purchasing a clarinet. It seemed like our ideas of expensive or the right price to pay for and how to choose a good instrument may have differed, so i wonder if that has anything to do with how thrilled your daughter was. I hope she continues to enjoy playing and improving her skills.
