What were your favorite table service meals for kids under 5?

I think Liberty Tree Tavern is great because the food is delicious and the characters are traditional. My friend took her daughter to Chef Mickey's and said it was wonderful, so we're trying that our next trip! I agree about the buffets---I end up having to get everyone's food, so I don't have as much time to sit and eat. I much prefer the family style service at Liberty Tree Tavern.

We did Garden Grill last year, and while we had a good time, I didn't think the food was all that great. The kids loved decorating cupcakes, though!

Last year my dd4 LOVED the Princess Storybook Luncheon at Epcot. We all enjoyed Crystal Palace luncheon - had great service and the kids (even my ds9) really enjoyed the Pooh characters. Another favorite of ours was Sci-Fi Dine In Theater. Even though the movies were abit different, the kids had a blast there, plus the cheeseburgers were awesome.

There are so many great places - I'm sure what you pick will be wonderful.

My DD had just turned three the last time we went and she loved~
:eeyore: 1900 Park Fare~ all the character interaction and picking her food
:butterfly the Rainforest Cafe~ seeing all the animals
:Pinkbounc Teppanyaki Steak House~ watching the chef
princess: Cinderella's Royal Table~ she loved the princesses and refused to share the appetizer plate (grapes and cheeses)

I hope this helps you. Most places are kid friendly as long as the child is well rested or not too cranky.

Akershus (Norway) for the princesses
Chef Mickey's
Ohana (the limbo and coconut races)
Biergarten (we enjoyed eating while she joined the other kids down front for the dancing and oomp pah band)
WCC (we had a bad waiter, but dd4 had fun with the stick horse parade)

For those ages and since they are both girls I would have to recommnd:

Crystal Palace
Chef Mickey's
Cape May Cafe
Liberty Tree Tavern
Pretty much a lot of character dining will probably be a big hit amongst them.
Since they are both girls I am pretty sure that they will also enjoy 1900 Park Fair because they will see a lot of characters that they may not usually get to see such as Mary Poppins, Alice in Wonderland, Cinderella, Prince Charming, and the Fairy Godmother is in the waiting room ready to take pictures and sign autographs.

Have a great time!!!!!

We had DS2 with us and all enjoyed LTT (lunch), Crystal Palace (dinner), Garden Grill (dinner), and Kona Cafe (dinner). We didn't like Chef Mickey's (breakfast) - too crowded, long wait for table despite ADR, long wait for characters, long lines for buffet food or Boma (dinner) - didn't like the food, was quite loud.

Our kids (DS6 & DD4) have enjoyed many TS meals over the course of many trips. Those they've actually asked to go back to include...

Chef Mickey's (FUN with the classic characters)
Coral Reef (the aquarium)
Kona Cafe (the HUGE cone dessert)
Ohana (entertainment)
Rose & Crown (to view Illuminations)
San Angel Inn (atmposhere, boat ride)
Sci-Fi (the movies, car seats)
Whispering Canyon (entertainment, KETCHUP!)

Good luck with your plans.
