what were you "named" (voted) in High school?

I was voted " Prettiest eyes " , " "Best Dressed" , and one year I was voted "Most likley to be caught in hot Rollers " awww the 80's LOL

Wishing everyone a Tagged night

I was voted "Most Talkative" and at our school that was not a real positive thing. Most Talkative was a nice way of letting everyone know who was the gossipy and nosey person in school. LOL To be honest, I knew all the juicy stuff about most people and I wasn't afraid to share it. :p Anyway we have our 20 year reunion in August. I will not be attending, cause I will be kicking back at the BC in WDW that week.

"Most Likely to be Caught in the Boy's Locker Room" - no kidding.

In a class of over 700 I was voted most quietest...not my greatest accomplishment.

Most ORIGINAL . . .

Ironically, DH who graduated from high school two years before me and 100 miles away was ALSO voted "Most Original" in his class . . .

I was named Most Likley to Run off to Hollywood and Most Likley to be a X-File(I was and still a huge fan) for some reason

Deb, you and Mark most definitely ARE originals! :)

I was a Best Actress in high school, through our drama club awards, though...not in the yearbook. They didn't have those kind of awards in high school, just junior high.

I wasn't named anything in high school. Superlatives were a big deal to us though and we eagerly awaited the results every year.

My dd Ashli graduated from hs this spring. Her senior year she was voted "Most Changed". Ashli changed very little on the inside but she made dramatic changes to the way she related to others. Made a tremendous effort to become out going. She also lost some weight and got contacts.

Nothing for me but my son was voted "most deserving senior boy" Can you tell I'm a proud mom?

Well... you know the weirdos (I was one of them I can call myself that), that people don't know what to do...

The sort of lumped you in the running for most creative.. which was a politically correct way to say you are "too strange for us".

I have another story regarding homecoming.

I was really punk.. with army clothes safety pins, combat boots,e tc.. I sat nex to the other punk guy, who was into goth...as well.

We were friends, nothing ever more.

Now, I did have history class with all hte "popular" cheeleader types.

Now, some decided to be spiteful.. and they nominated this guy and myself for homecoming king and queen.. sort of like a demented Carrie (member that movie?) joke.

We were supposed to get upset, and instead we voted for ouselves. If we had won, we would have just dressed up normally, played the Sex Pistols, and either mooned or gave everyone the one finger salute!

In Junior High, I got "Best Personality" and in High School (graduating class of 400), I got "Class Clown".

I used to make this really bad rubber face - one of my friends snapped a shot of me doing it, and put a huge copy of it in the back of the yearbook. At last year's 25th reunion - there's that $#%@&^* picture again on a huge bulletin board!

No award for it - but I'm most proud of graduating in the top tenth of my class.

Cindy, you sound like the type of kid I would have wanted to hang out with.

I was a cheerleader in my freshman through junior years, and by the time senior year rolled around, I was so sick of that kind of snobbery and the fact that these girls held themselves superior to anyone who dared to be different, that I just up and quit.

I always liked the kids who showed a little individuality, myself. :) I wish you HAD won, that would have been a great moment for you to have mooned the whole lot of them! :p

In high school, I wasn't voted anything.. The whole procedure was kind of messed up this year and only a handful of people handed in their voting sheets. It's definitely a popularity contest too..

But the reason why I'm posting...... Anyone have the category of Class Complainer ?? Well we did. The boy that got it was asking people to vote for him - he was the hands-down winner, he alwaaaays complained. And the girl who got it, um, complained about being named Class Complainer. She had her MOM call the school and talk to our yearbook advisor and she said "I will not allow you to print my daughter's name or picture with that title." Ha, princess got her way - We had one Class Complainer. The Class of 03 knows that story though, so we all know there are 2 complainers!!!

When I graduated from my high school in the Philippines, I was voted "Most Likely to Marry a Foreigner" (!), probably because I was the only person in my class who went to college overseas... I didn't think it would happen, but lo and behold, I'm dating the most wonderful redhead you'll ever meet!

Look at you.. up and quitting cheerleading... good for you..

I'm glad you liked the originality.. I did as well..there were maybe 20 of us in the whole school of over 2000.

I wish I had won as well... I probably would have smashed the crown upon receipt and shouted Anarchy! (after the one finger or moon salute!)

We only had this award our Senior year of High School.

I was "Most School Spirit"

DH was "Best Personality"

tamie

I won for the "Best Car"in the girl catagory. I drove a Honda CRX, I think that I taught everyone in my senior class to drive stick on it. Perhaps, that is how I went through 3 clutches in 2 years??? It was a fun car though!

Oops - actually it was "Friendliest", which I think is synonymous with "but she has a nice personality"!

DH was "Biggest Gearhead" - he built a motor from the block up, and was a little famous for it! ;)
