What were members' initial reactions to BWV?

I remember touring OKW possibly back in '93 with a friend. It was very nice, very pretty but the buy-in cost was ridiculous. Instead we decided to split a much more affordable but equally nice nearby timeshare. Later on my friends decide to buy BWV...I tag along for the tour. I think its small and expensive but a great location and atmosphere in the hotel part...but the timeshare we had was just as good so whats the point? Then along came VWL which was at a resort whose appearance I LOVED. I bought sight unseen and loved the unit when I stayed there.

So I guess to each his own.

We visited in Oct 96 and walked around the BoardWalk and OKW. We loved the BW area - it just seemed so nice and we loved the 30's feel.

Then we returned in Apr 99 and really loved the BW. In Jan 2000 I took the tour and asked about buying OKW, but it was sold out (I was thinking lower dues). So I bought BWV and have never regretted it. I have stayed at both several times and find the extra floorspace and the kitchen do nothing to add to our vacations. The only two things I could say that I prefer at OKW are the laundry in a different room (full size doesn't matter, the loads are never full) and the large deck with a table big enough for having a meal.

Other than those two items - I prefer BWV.
