We have been to WDW several times on the 2nd week of December. We are considering going the first week of Dec. this year to miss most of Pop. I'm a little worried about crowds with this being so close to Thanksgiving. Does anyone have experience with this week with Thanksgiving falling so late? Thanks

We just went this past November. We were there the week after Thanksgiving. It was busy but not crowded. We left Dec.2nd and there was a noticeable influx of people but that could have just been because it was the weekend. We love Disney at Christmas time.

We are deciding between those two weeks also. I am afraid airfare will be more Thanksgiving weekend.

I just remembered why it got busy the weekend we left. It was the taping of the Christmas parade at MK. We went to Epcot that day and pretty much walked onto all rides. We went to the candle light service at Epcot. It was great!

This particular week is a great time to go. This has been our week of choice for 3 years in a row now. This past Dec. '12, lines for attractions were short, a crowds levels minimal, very little waiting. Christmas time at the World is beautiful and we will be there same time in Dec. '13. :cool1:

We too love this time of year. I'm not concerned with the Pop Warner crowds, but I do believe they will have no discounts for this week, as the discounts usually exclude Pop Warner week.

What is the weather like the 1st/2nd week of December? We have young kids and they love the pool! We mostly go the end of Sept or first of Oct. This year it was SO hot and crowded we are in the market for a different week in 2013.

The weather in December is anyones guess. We've had some really warm days, shorts and t-shirts and swimming everyday. We've also had to buy jackets, hats, and even gloves(one year) as it was so cold.
