What week in Jan?

Ok, what week in Jan is least crowded?

Don't know which one would be the least crowded, but the first week in January is definitely the most crowded!

I would agree with this, with the exception of MLK. It tends to be pretty crowded the weekend of MLK, and crowds tend to thin out by Wed after the holiday.

DH and I have been several different times and found the 3rd or 4th week of January have never been very crowded. Weather's nice and no long lines for some of the more popular rides. Of course some of the old time favorites don't operate such as COP.

Whoo Hooo! I'm looking forward to very little crowds. We're going to be there w/my family and the inlaws (who have never been anywhere or done anything and are totally excited) from Jan. 20-28. Their first trip will spoil them!

January is great! I was able to go last year during the very end of the month. It is not crowded and the weather is still nice. I will be going in the middle of January this year!

January is definately not very crowded but we will be there for a College Cheerleading and Dance Competition and according to all of the January threads there seem to be a lot of people going this Jan. I know that it will not be any where near busy compared to some months but I don't think it will be too slow either. But I don't care I will be in Disney!! Jan 12-21!!!

Thanks for your responses! My Fil approached me last week saying he thinks for Xmas he is going to plan a family trip to WDW next year. We have a trip booked in Sep/Oct, but my hubby's family owns a vegetable farm and can't get away until January if the whole family goes. I always go in Oct/Sep, so I needed help in Jan. I'm gonna recommend the 3rd or 4th week of Jan. Thanks again!

Last year we went the last week of January and had an absolutely fantastic time. No lines ever, for anything.

We just got back from our trip two nights ago and waited in longer lines than our last trip for everything. But still, the lines weren't unbearable.

When we go again, it'll be the last week of January. It was delightful.

We are going for the very first time in January in 2007! (19th - 23rd) I just booked last week and we are going on a friday and coming back on the tuesday (4 nights) so we will be there for dd's 8th birthday. Got such a great deal on airfare and I wanted to do something special for her. Looking forward to shorter lines and less heat than our april & august trips!
