What we refer to as "the Wigan Incident"

Last year when we'd just started back in september we got the day off but we had 2 go in 2 c our form tutors with our parents. 4 of my friends and i had appointments late in the day so we decided we would visit liverpool 4 a day shopping. We set out and did a bit of shopping. Everything was going just fine until we split up 4 lunch. we arranged 2 meet up at the station at a certain time. Me, Estee and Lauren went off and then realised we didnt have a clue how to find the station. We carried on shopping and then decided we'd better head 4 the station. We finally found it about 30mins after we'd started lookingfor it. We decided we'd be better off waiting the hour and a half 4 the train. So we waited and we waited and then estee's phone rang. It was helen and nicky 2 say they'd got the earlier train and we're nearly home. Great! So we waited 4 our train and got to the platform, we then got moved 2 a different 1 and we enquired as to weather we were getting on the right train. We got told we were and they stamped our tickets and everything!We sat for 45 minuetes tlking about the fact that we thought we were on th ewrong train and every1 heard our conversation. They all knew and didnt say a word. We ended up in Wigan, 24 miles from home with 6p between us. I had 2 phone my mum and explain y id b a bit late getting home! MMy mum rang estee's mum who then came and picked us up but we get so much stick about it even now!

I always get lost on trains

And people are so unhelpful too. I was trying to get home from Waterloo once, all by myself, and I got on a train and asked 'Is this train going to Ealing?' Everyone just sat there in silence, until the doors closed behind me, and then this man looked up and said 'No.' Great. So I ended up stuck on a train to Walthamstow, with no ticket. Great.....

its just typical isnt it! Im sure they think its hilarious and ok so i did to but it could have been dangerous
