Hi everyone!

We (Jon and Tanya) were at the Pop Century from Monday March 8th- Friday March 12, 2004. We are Florida residents 2 hours south of the Magic and Annual Passholders. We spent the weekend before our vacation at the Pop Century as well
so this whole trip we decided- for the first time, we would just take it easy and do what we wanted when we wanted. Normally we're comando WDW'ers so this was a huge change for us, but boy was it nice! I couldn't help myself though and I did end up making quiet a few PS but we only managed to make 3 of them the whole trip!!!
Monday
-Breakfast was quick while we were on the road- nothing special!
-Lunch- We went to Epcot and were looking for something we hadn't tried before so we had Cantina de San Angel. One Plato Combanacion and One Wet Buritto plus a bottle of water and a Conga fruit drink(orange, pineapple and lime juice).
Yummie! Plus we got to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful day!
-Dinner- was offsite with my best friend. We took her to our favorite Orlando restaurant Kobe Japanese Steak House. It's a Tepenyaki restaurant that IMHO is 100x better than Beni Hana's! As usual everything was great and we all left stuffed and happy!
Tuesday-
-Breakfast this morning was from Everything Pop that Jon got while I was getting ready. Jon had a breakfast pizza and I had a POP waffle with a side of bacon and we split a fruit bowl. We've decided that the breakfast pizza can easily be split between 2 adults- especially if you pick up some fruit or breakfast
potatoes to go along with it!
-Lunch was at the Plaza Restaurant in the MK (at 11:00 am w/out a PS). Jon had a tasty Grilled Chicken Sandwich with shaved ham and swiss cheese, while I had a Cheese burger and a chocolate milk shake- yum! The fries were really yummie too, all in all this was a super meal and a reasonable price for a sit down meal in
the MK!
-Dinner was from Cantina de San Angel ! We got a pretty good spot for Illuminations and ate before the show. Jon had the Combo, Conga fruit drink and a churro and I had the Wet Burrito, bottle of water and a churro. Everything was yummie except for the churros which were hard and tasted more like a big straws
Wednesday-
-Breakfast was at 10:30 @ 1900 Park Fare with Alice, the Mad Hatter, Pooh and Tigger! We also found Mary Poppins sitting quietly in the restaurant lobby when we left. Omletes, Mickey waffles, chilled strawberry soup- everything was great,
plus we got to see the Mad Hatter. Alice never made it to our table during her 3 rotations around the room though
-Lunch- around 5:00 we split some Chicken Mc Nuggets and fries from the McDonalds stand near Canada while I waited to see Off Kilter
!!
-Dinner tonight was from Everything Pop- we weren't hungry when we left the parks and by the time we did get hungry it was one of our only options left. Jon had the Vegetable Lo Mein and I had a sub from the frig. section. The sandwich wasn't great, which I wasn't surprised at but Jon said the Lo Mein wasn't that
great either. I ended up getting a little sick after dinner too, but this was the lowest food point of the entire trip so I guess that's a pretty good average.
Thursday-
This morning we skipped breakfast because we had an 11:00 am seating at the Sci-Fi (which we love) so we just figured we'd wait it out and eat a big lunch. Jon had a cheese burger and I had the 7 Bean Chilli and a Black Forest Ham Sandwich. As always our meal was very tasty and quick to be prepared. We had a
nice break and then headed back out to MGM.
-Dinner ended up being my favorite time of the whole trip! *Background* I love Wishes and O'Hana so I had tried to make a PS for 7:00 so we could watch Wishes from the table. Sadly the only thing open was a 7:50 which the CM's tell you if you arrive for a 7:50 PS they can usually seat you between 7:50 and 8:10
! Then Thursday afternoon I went to Guest Relations at POP and made a 9:20 PS for O'hana. This time I though we'd skip the 7:50, go into MK watch Wishes and then make our way back to the Poly for our 9:20 PS (best of both because I really
wanted to see Wiches and eat ot O'Hana!!!). But Jon didn't want to wait that late to eat
so we decided to go to the Poly at 7. When we got there Jon went upstairs and talked to the Check In CM while I browsed the gift shops.
He told the CM that it was our Anniversary and our last night in WDW and that I was really looking forward to watching Wishes from O'Hana. Well the CM knew exactly what that meant and promised Jon he'd get us either a window seat or the next closest
Of course I was still a little nervous about it but Jon promised me everything would work out! We went out to the beach and found a swing and just spent some time alone. Watching the castle change colors, listening to the waves (it was windy out)- we were so lucky to be there, it's just amazing!
Around 7:25 I decided we should go back in and see how the seating was going. I checked us in at the podium and the CM played it cool and said nothing about the window seat or anything. We got our beeper thing and found a seat and ordered some drinks. Before or drinks came back our beeper went off so we went back to the podium. This was it for me- the bog moment as we were walking through the entrance! Our seater did the Welcome to O'Hana's thing (but the whole time I was just holding my breath) and I swear he was in on it because he walked us around the far left side of the restaurant
(I was scanning all the empty tables) untill he finally reached the middle of the room (near the fire pit) and then towards the windows!!!!
Yep we got it- perfect window seat for Wishes! Yes!!!!
It was perfect! The food was wonderfull, Wishes was great, and I almost forgot that the next day was our departure day! Now that's some real magic!!!
Friday-
-Breakfast was at the McDonalds by the All Stars (we thought we were going to leave after but ended up going to the Coronado Springs and looking around there then taking a bus to AK) and it was normal McDonalds.
-Lunch was at Restaurantosaurus- we were really feeling McDonalds for some reason which is not like us at all! Jon had a cheese burger and I had chicken McNuggets- surprise surprise
!

We had a few snacks during our stay also (pop corn, pretzel, ice cream cookie sandwich) plus some delicious chocolate covered strawberries from Gherardellis(sp) at DTD!

Looking back I know that we did a lot of repeat dining which is not like us but I guess it was because we did a very laid back trip. All in all the food was fantastic- we had a few old favorites and found some new ones as well
!!
Hope You Enjoyed em',

CM all confirmed an 11:00 am opening. I didn't make this PS myself, I had my TA do it, but I don't think that would make a difference. When were you making the PS for (time of year)? I know we've eaten there before between 11 and 12, so if we don't get an answer I will ask about it today.
