What was your wedding song???

Our wedding song was "At Last" by Etta James.

FOJMO - I LOVE "If Ever I Would Leave You!" It is truly a beautiful song.

Our first dance song was "Here and Now" by Luther Vandross... At the time we got married it just fit.. Our wedding party's first dance song was "We've only just begun" by The Carpenters.. Gotta love the Carpenters.. However the tearjerker (for my bride anyway) for the night was when I made a special dedication to my wife (it was a surprise) and we danced to "You Make me Feel Brand New" by the Stylistics.. Ah the memories...

Have I Told You Lately -- Van Morrison

Just celebrated 7 years with the most wonderful man on this earth. He would have to be to put up with all the Disney things.

We met when we were 16 & 17, we didn't date anyone else. We will be married 25 years next June!

I met my DH when I was 15...almost 16...and he had just turned 17. The 22nd of this month is our 25th anniversary! :D

"Wonderful Tonight" by Eric Clapton. In fact, we just celebrated our 14th wedding anniversary 2 days ago!:)

I love weddings and I love this thread. My dh and I danced our first dance to "Endless Love" by Lionel Ritchie and Diana Ross. If you ever get a chance to listen to this song, it is very beautiful and timeless. This song was released in the late 70's or early'80s (we were married in 1994) but it made perfect sense.

I have a CD with this song on it that I keep at work. If dh and I have an argument I listen to it to remind me of how we felt about each other on that day and afterwards I'll call him up and either apologize or call a truce.

AspiringCindy -- Wonderful Tonight was our wedding song too. It's 11 years for us as of June. :D

Longer by Dan Fogelberg. We still pause whenever we hear it and it's been 20 years.

Oh, I'm such a Disney cheeseball...but if there's anyplace to be a cheeseball it's here, right?

*Our Song* is "Don't Want to Miss a Thing" by Aerosmith. Kind of predictable, but it was very meaningful since we met during our WDWCP semester.

However, our *First Dance Song* was "A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes" from "Disney's Instrumental Impressions" CD. (THe one from GF that you can't get anymore. I love ebay! :D )

Our first anniversary is coming up on July 13th. :Pinkbounc I'm just a youngin'!

What a fun thread!! :teeth:

Our song was the same as Dan Murphy's, "Love Theme from Romeo and Juliet" and a friend of mine played it on the huge grand piano as we lit our unity candle. We will celebrate 28 years in September.

Our DD was married 3 years ago and the song that was sang at their wedding was "From This Moment" by Shania Twain. Then at their reception the first song they danced to as a married couple was "What a Wonderful World" by Louis Armstrong. The song she danced to with her father was "House at Pooh Corner" by Kenny Loggins. I still tear up every time I hear any of those! :)

Our song is "I Swear" by John Michael Montgomery and another our song is "I Can Love You Like That" also JMM.

"Your Song" by Elton John

Our first date was an Elton John concert. During his performance of the song, we just looked at each other....and I melted. :)

This September will be our 15th wedding anniversary.

True Companion, by Marc Cohn....

Celebrating 6+ weeks of bliss! :)

*our song* is "I wanna know what love is" by REO Speedwagon
I fell in love with Dh on our second date as we danced to that song.
Our wedding song was "Love lifts us up where we belong/ Theme from An Officer & A Gentleman"- We didn't have a dance, because we had a morning wedding, but we had two friends sing it at the church and then later the pianist played it at our reception luncheon.

We're more in love now after 17 yr. then we were even then.

ours was "At Last" by Etta James. No real reason other than I liked it, and liked it even more when I realized how SHORT it was - I dreaded making a spectacle of myself!

Isn't this the best part of being married? Waking up every day thinking, "how is it possible that I can love this person more than I did yesterday?"

I walked up the asle to the Hawian Love Song by Captian and Tennile and afterwards we walked down the asle to We've only just Begun by the Carpenters

I just wanted to say thanks to everyone for posting on this thread! Congratulations to all of you and many more happily married years!!!:D

I walked down the aisle to "From This Moment" -- the Shania Twain and Bryan White version and our first dance was "Don't Wanna Miss A Thing" by Aerosmith -- it just fit the way that we feel about each other perfectly!
