What Was Your Most Disappointing Wdw Experience?

Yep, Mr. Toad was replaced seveal years ago by the Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. I believe there is still at Mr. Toad ride at Disneyland.

Oh I miss the MK Club to! That was a great thing. I was so upset when they ended it.

I think my most disappointing experience though was when we were at WDW for the 25th Anniversary kick off.

When we got to the MK they shuffeled us backstage because guests were not allowed on Main Street that day!

We un-invited guests were relegated to watching the 25th Anniversary celebration on large tvs throughout the rest of the park. Hardly any of the 25th anniversary "stuff" (sovieners & stuff) were even available when the celebration started. It seemed very rushed & not very magical. The only "guests" allowed on Main Street or in front of the castle that day were press & their families. Oh & that big pink pepto bismol cake! What a dissapointment that was!

We got married in DW during the 25th celebration to. I was still upset with that castle cake when we were there in June for our wedding. Our wedding coordinator told us we could have a regular glass window in the Wedding Pavilion so that we could "see the castle in our weddin pics". We opted for the stain glass window of the castle. I did not want that pink monstrosity in my wedding pictures!

I mentioned this thread to dh and his immediate response was "california grill." We really didn't get into the food the one time we ate there. Granted, it was several years ago, shortly after it changed to the California theme and it may have changed a lot since then. Just not our type of place, I guess.

ours was the Cinderella dinner at 1900 Park Fair at GF - we went for my DD's 3rd birthday - the food was just okay and we had to wait FOREVER to see Cindy and PC - we had to wait 15 minutes after we were done eating and I didn;t even think Cindy was very nice

It used to be scary, now it's for toddlers. Other than the dark, there is nothing scary about it anymore. Just gross smells.

My most disappointing experience was when we ate at Cosimic Ray's Starlight Cafe and my little sister got food poisoning from there. She was throwing up all day and the next two days as well. It really messed up our WDW vacation. And to make things worse, it was our first visit ever to Disney world but it certainly wasn't the last.

Ours would have to be Donalds Breakfasaurus They stuffed us in a little corner booth and NONE of the characters came over to our little corner the whole hour we were there eating. Our waitress was NEVER around and we had to go get another waiter to ask him to have the characters come over and greet my son. After another 20 minutes we finally got to see Goofy for a little bit and didn't have the patience to wait for anyone else since they were all the way on the other side of the restraunt and had to "work" their way back around !!

We are going to try it again this trip so we'll see if the last trip was just a freak occurence !!

The only thing I can think of was being disappointed with the food at 1900 Park Fare. It was really the worst dinner I've ever had at WDW. It was like someone opened up 100's of TV dinners and dumped them all into big containers. Yuck.

I've never been disappointed with a ride or an attraction that I can remember.

New Years Eve, '02 (ringing in the '03 new year.) It was POURING rain and CP was packed, and we had a PS for there. It took us over an hour to be seated, and we had to wait outside in the rain, and it was packed outside. We ended up leaving before midnight, along with hundreds of other people, and had to wait forever to get back to the parking lot because there was so many people there. We didn't even end up eating at CP; we went back to the strip right outside of the entrance to DTD and bought take out! We had to watch Dick Clark that night, too; however, we did see some fireworks from MK from our hotel.

The declining value of Florida Resident ticket specials. Last year I could get 4 days for $109, this year can only get 3 days for $119!

Ours was last year a MGM Studios when we went to see the Osborne Lights.
We had asked earlier in the day if it was possible to see the lights after Fantasmic, and was told yes. We had my Grandmother with us who was just recovering from breast cancer, and was on what will most likely by her and my Grandfather's last trip to WDW. So, in other words we were trying to pack in as MUCH as possible, and thought after we were told we could do both, that we could well... do both! NOT!!

After Fantasmic ended we went as fast as we could for the lights only to run into a barracade of CM's not letting people into the lights because of a private party! Truly they did not have to let us in, because just as soon as we stepped up, and I'm talking seconds here, they made the offical closed announcement. Even though there were people with in arms reach of us that had just gotten in they would not let us or the 8 other VERY mad people standing there through. One man's family had gone in ahead of him while he was in the restroom, and they would not even let him through to catch up to them! He pushed past them,and then security was called....a huge mess!

I was not mad, just totally heartbroken for my Grandmother. I cried for hours. I know the people on the tram to the parking lot thought I was crazy.
It was every bit my fault, but honestly had we known, we would have just skipped Fantasmic, as she had already seen that a few years before.We just did not think it was going to be a problem doing both, because we were told it wouldn't be, and also because we had done it that way for the past 5 years ourselves without ever having this happen. As a matter of fact Guest Services even told us that it would not have been a problem that night either had it not been for the private party!
And I am NOT saying anything about the folks having the private party...just wish I would have known.

Our 2002 vacation was not the vacation I had very much anticipated - quite a letdown
