What was your Memorial Day BARGAIN?

I finally found a vintage 1960s Adventureland print dress for $5! I've been looking for one for years and it looks great!

I also found 4 pieces of Fiestaware in the alley! FREE!

My bargain? I stayed home and spent nothing. Really, I don't need a thing.

I didn't go shopping! LOL best way to save.....:rotfl2:

Well...

Store bargain - at Bob's I got Nike 6.0 sneakers for middle DS which are regularly @$80/pair on clearance for $33.60, then I had two coupons which I was able to layer so total cost $17!

Non-store bargain - DH found a Pottery Barn James Stripe 9' Market Umbrella that a customer had put in their dumpster. It needed some thread and 10 minutes of stitching to put it in perfect working order. Cost @$0.10 - Savings $178.90 (after deducting the thread:laughing:). Gotta love a man who's not afraid to go dumpster diving.:rolleyes1

I was able to really look at my Goodwill and found DH 2 brand new dress Geoffrey Beene Dress Shirts with tags, and a RL Polo shirt with tags. DS 3 RL Polo dress shirts, they weren't new, but they had been professionally cleaned and a pair of banana republic shorts. I got a Susan Garver sweater, brand new with tags and a Lane Bryant jacket ( I already had the brown one that I loved and this was the black one) and a CJ Banks top. For DD I got her a pair of shorts and a swim suit. Grand total....$33!!!!

A little late with my reply, but had to post my Memorial Day bargains.
Like the OP, I also went to Savers for the big 50% off sale. It was packed and I got a few things, but nothing to get excited about.
Then I went to another thrift store, and while I was there, they announced a 1-hour sale: all clothing for $1 each. Score! I spent $30, and got a ton of stuff including a Jones NY top, Hurley jacket, Abercrombie jacket, Splendid skirt, Tahari jeans, INC jacket, Ann Taylor Loft skirt, DKNY skirt, Gap jeans and a Max Studio jacket, all in excellent, like-new condition. I know it's not jacket weather, but I'm all set for the fall.
I love thrift store shopping! It can be very time-consuming wading through all the not-so-great stuff, but worth it in the end. :)
