What Was Your Longest Stay?

Just curious as to what everyone's record longest stay was OP, and your reason for it? On our last trip in 2008 we stayed 10 days which was, at that time, our longest, and by the end frankly we were pretty over people and lines and buses and heat. Having said that, this time we are staying 13 days. I'd REALLY like to add 2 days but we're already stretched to our financial limit by staying CL at AKL and booking all sorts of extras on top of that. We're doing it this way because it's our 10 year anniversary so we're having a bit of a splurge.

Before this year our longest trip was 6 days back in 2012. We are taking a trip in July of this year and going for 8 days. I'd love to stay longer but my husband is self employed and it's hard to be away from the business longer than a week or so.

DH loves long trips.

For our honeymoon we stayed 1 night in Port Canaveral, 4 nights on Disney Dream, 3 or 4 nights at Caribbean Beach Resort, then 4 nights at Animal Kingdom Lodge. I didn't want to split stay the resorts but that's the way it worked out with AKL being full. We could have cut out a park day and I would have been ok

We are planning 7 park days next year but we'll have a 2 year old and I'll hopefully be pregnant so we'll be taking it slow. Planning to stay at a value since trip is so long (8 nights).

We've always done 6 or 7 days. Our last trip, we did 10, since we had APs at the time and got a great discount on a room. We were able to tour at a more relaxed pace, which was nice. Our upcoming trip is 9 days, which I think will be just right. :)

7 nights was our usual trip when we lived in MA. Now that we live in FL we take shorter trips. However we have a 15 night stay coming up in June. I originally had booked 10 nights at CBR, but my DD is now going to the Disney Soccer Academy. We are spending 2 nights at All Star Movies, 8 nights at AKL followed by 5 nights at All Star Sports. I'm having no issues filling our time LOL!!! We are not park commandos and plan on going to activities at AKL, going to the waterparks, see Finding Dory and I booked the Wild Africa Trek at AK this evening.

10 days, 9 nights. December last year. It was good, but something about being away from home for the first ten days of December... seemed to take some of the anticipation/magic out of Christmas for us. Not really Disney's fault though. I think we'd do that length again, just not in December.

32 days, split between the monorail resorts. It was a long time ago, so I was pretty little and don't remember every detail. My parents were having a large portion of our house rebuilt because of a fire so while my dad was handling that, our mom and my grandparents kept us at Disney the entire time. We had APs and went to a park usually every day for a couple of hours and did a lot of hanging around the resorts and swimming. The thing I remember the most is the CMs working at the resorts knew my family very well and knew about our home situation and they created a lot of magic for me and my siblings while we were there.

The first trip (not my first but the first one for all 4 of us) we were there for 10 nights. That was perfect, as we had plenty of time to relax at the BWV and enjoy it!

Most trips are a week or so. Last spring break was 9 nights. Next trip for just DD and me in August with free dining will be 9 nights.

Our longest was staying off site for 15 nights, just the kids and me. I could have stayed longer! We didn't go to the parks every day, and when we did sometimes it was just a couple hours. It was so much fun. I seriously could do a month, but having a condo was nice. I cooked a lot of easy things, so we weren't eating out much.

Our longest was 13 nights in 2012. It was supposed to be 10, but Superstorm Sandy hit and all of the airports in my region closed; the earliest US Air could re-book us was 3 days after our original departure.
