My daughter is sweeter than watermelon juice! When DD (14) was a little girl if something was exceptionally good she would say it was "better than watermelon juice". Now I say she is that sweet herself.
What is your favorite kid saying?

DD (now 11) would say "yesternight" instead of last night which I still think is brilliant! LOL

And "rainbrella" for an umbrella. I mean, we do use one in the rain, not when it is "uming" outside. ;)

Dh and I were just talking about this the other day and our favorite saying of our oldest dd is from when she was 2....

"My have a don't!"

Which we heard a lot of anytime she didn't want to do something. Now dh and I tell each other that when she's not listening and it always gets us laughing. It was so funny to hear out of that tiny little mouth. :goodvibes

My niece's best line ever was, when she was about 3 years odl, she was riding in the car with Grandma. Someone cut her off and Grandma said "what an ***hole." Well, my niece says in her cute little voice, "***hole, that's my favorite word." We were cracking up! :rotfl:

When my son was 4 we took him shopping I was pushing him in the cart, now my eyes are blue and Jennymom are green his are green as well so I said "You have your mommy's eyes" he turned his little face up to me and said and I quote "I'll give em back" I didn't know weather to laugh or cry.

I laugh everytime my kids eat pizza. my 5yo calls the crust...stems! LOL

"I don't like the stem, mama" :rotfl2:

Every night when my sister was little, she and my mom would play the "I love you more than" game

"I love you more than the clouds in the sky"
"I love you more than the sand on the beach"

One night my sister declares:

"I love you more than dirt" :rotfl2: :confused3

We still say it to eachother (and we are "grown up" now)

Whenever DS2.5 gets excited to go somewhere. He just says "Are you ready momma?" I know it is nothing out of the ordinary but when we were in Disney in October. I loved to hear him stay it before a ride or a show.

Dh used to call DD munchkin she couldn't say it so she say munchchicken it is now a family endearment

Speaking of munchkins, when my son was about 2, we watched The Wizard of Oz. Fascinated with the little people in the movie, I explained to him they were Munchkins. Not too long afterward, we were in Borders, and we passed a book with a picture of all the characters from the Wizard of Oz on the cover. My son points to the book and yells out, "Look Mama, the Donuts"! :rotfl2: Thereafter, the Munchkins became the Donuts. :rotfl:

My youngest enunciated "Mick KEEEEEEEEEY Mouse" with the accent on key as in car key He would drag out the eeeee until he ran out of breath.

My little brother called the next store neighbors the "next-store-bors"

my neighbor told my son.. when you grow up you be will one little heart breaker... WELL..ds came running home with tears running down his cheeks... Mommy I don't want to beak anybody's heart when I grow up, can you ask the DR to fix me pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeee....

I cried and laughed :cloud9:

When Benji was three, we went to San Antonio and visited the river Center mall. In the food court, there were samples of chicken being handed out. One of these samples was a spicy chicken, so I asked Benji if I could have that sample. He said "sure, momma, go ahead" And he watched solemnly as i ate his sample. My dh and oldest ds were in the mens room at the time and when they came out, Benji burst into tears. When dh asked what was wrong, Benji wailed "MOMMA ATE MY CHICKEN!!!" He went on about this for weeks. He went back to preschool and when his teacher asked how his trip was, he went on about the river walk, the mall with the giant boots and the lights downtown. Benji right then, burst into tears and said "Momma did something really bad though." He said,"Momma ate my chicken and i'm still sad 'bout that" So ,that was Benji's catch phrase for months and it's still a family joke. Though I must admit, I do feel a tad guillty about the whole chicken incident.

Well she used to put yipstick on her yips and yeggings on her legs.

But then after two months of weekly speech classes she graduated to putting the initial s sound on the front of words-usually words that DIDN"t start with s!

Boy, can I ever remember the "L" less stage. We went to Hawaii and DD got a doll there. She asked me what I thought her name was and without thinking it over I replied "LuLu". :earseek: Well, we had a dolly called Honauhuh, UhUh.

Madison Fire

That's what my little girl went around saying so often that people who didn't know us thought her name was "Madison Fire". What she was "attempting" to say was, "I'm madder than fire." Was an expression she got from my mom, who was usually madder than fire at me! :rotfl:

When DS was 6 or 7 I used the expression "crown of thorns". DS asked what that meant, and I explained that when Jesus was crucified, the soldiers put a crown of thorns on Him as a way of making fun of Him. A fews weeks later we were in our church and DS knelt at the large crucifix in the back of church. He looked up and studied it for a while. Finally, he calls me over and points upward and asks "Is that the crown of thorns, Mom?" I told him it was. He pauses a moment, looks :confused3 , then says "Well, it looks good on Him!" :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

My son calls costumes "suits". It just cracks me up when he says "I want a Power Ranger suit for Christmas." I envision a power ranger in a brightly colored 3-piece suit. :confused3

I also laugh when he says his full name. Our last name is Williams, he pronounces it "Wilms", and will argue with you if you try to correct it.

One day I told DS that I "loved him to pieces". He looked at me and told me that he "...loved me to crumbs"! Later, after spending time with my science geek of a DH, DS tells me "I love you to vapors!". He'll still tell me this...on a good day. :cool1:

When my son was little, I had a good friend and her family over and my son was in the kitchen saying, "I wanna watch the Chippendales, I wanna watch the Chippendales. Mom, please, I wanna watch the Chippendales. My friend just gave me the strangest look in the world and I said, NO, he doesn't want to watch the Chippendales. He wants to watch Chip and Dale! We had a really good laugh over it though. :rotfl2:
