HAHA great idea for a thread! I just looked mine up and was surprised to find out it WASNT about Disney! It was on July 27, 2006 and it was about my college major and what I wanted to study after college... I'm proud to say that 4 years later I followed through and got my masters degree in the very field I said I would! yay! :cool1:

My first post was about DCL~
I found the Disboards when I googled DCL tips before going on our first DCL cruise. Been hooked ever since! :lovestruc

My guess is that it was some inane question about something stupid. :goodvibes

Hmmm, I have no idea. That was a long time ago.

I'm sure it was asking a great question like "Can I use a 7/11 cup instead of a refillable mug?" or "Can I pool hop among Disney pools even if I'm staying offsite?" ;)

Who or what is Monkeyboy????? :rotfl2: I really don't remember :confused3

I have no idea. It was long before this iteration of the DIS. I do remember the boards looked very, very different than they do now.

My first post was a question about hotels in the Disneyland area for a trip with friends that ended up being scrapped.

Do you remember how a question and the subsequent answers/comments would each indent and end up sliding right off the page?? It was so hard to follow some threads! :lmao: That was back in 1997 or 98?

I think that it was about taking a child out of line to go to the bathroom and someone holding your place until you get back.

BOY! I did not realize what I was getting into when I told about our experience at RnR and taking dd to the bathroom. You would have thought some of those folks were actually there! (which couldn't have been because everyone in OUR line was really nice about it!)

I learned quickly about wearing a flame proof suit when you discuss lines at wdw!!

I don't even have to look back. I'm almost positive it was about a knife. Random. And sad.

What's even more sad are the number of posts I have. I've spent more money going to WDW and time thinking about WDW than I care to count or admit.

I also remember that the first post I read was delswife. And it's still my favorite.

I can't believe my first post was already almost 10 years ago. I was only 17 and still in high school when I first joined and I remember my first post being about some project I was doing that was Disney related. However, I don't see it when I look up old posts.

I'm a member of the DIS old fogie's club. It's a good day when I remember my name. I probably asked something inane:

How is the weather in May?

What time is the 3 o'clock parade?

What kind of purse should I carry?

Are fanny packs cool?

no idea either but I may look it up if i can
ETA: Well my first post isn't listed but the oldest one listed is me saying someone was astute when they said this about the parks
"Notice as you are walking these parks how they each have different attractions. These are designed to make people want to attend the park and stay on property longer. Not many people know this."

My very first post was about magnets I think....and since this is a family board, I erased what I wrote once someone answered it:rotfl:, Let's just say that I have no problems riding any of the rides at WDW due to a gravitational pull:rolleyes1:rotfl2:

If you go to advance search, type in your name into the username box. Then down below, select that the older post shows first in ascending order. That brought my first post to the first page.

I just kind jumped in with no real intentions on anything. There's some posts on the Budget Board and Camping board first.

Now my first message board site that I became a member of Aug 5, 2001. I do remember my "home board", and why I created it.

Introduced myself on a cruise meet thread. At the time I had no intention of ever going anywhere else on the DIS:rolleyes::lmao:

I think my first post was asking about the All Stars for my brother and his family.
