What was your favorite TV show growing up?

USA Cartoon Express
Donald Duck Presents
Dumbo's Circus
He-Man
She-Ra
Hogan Family
Growing Pains
Family Ties
90210

I Love Lucy reruns are my all time favorite--even now. Also, loved I Dream of Jeannie, Flintstones and the Jetsons.

Growing Pains and I loved the New Mickey Mouse Club - it had these awesome "stories" on it...there was one about a girl who worked at a gas station while in high school...I can't remember what they were called but I had to watch it everyday after school!

:earsboy:

The Wonder Years is my all-time favorite but I also like The Dukes of Hazzard, Knight Rider, and the A-Team.

When I was about 5 years old:

H.R. Puff N Stuff
Banana Splits
New Zoo Review
Sesame Street
The Flinstones/Jetsons
Lost in Space
Bewitched
I dream of Jeannie
Sonny & Cher show
Donny & Marie show

When I was a teenager:
Wonder Woman
Charlie's Angels
Six Million Dollar Man
Bionic Woman
Welcome Back Kotter
Happy Days
Laverne & Shirley
Mork & Mindy

Please forgive any spelling errors.

I loved watching Punky Brewster. Heh. And the Flintstones, the Jetsons, Growing Pains... etc. I have a long list of fav shows that I could probably turn into a book.

One of my favorites when I was really little was Family Affair. That came on Monday nights, I think at 9? My mom always let me stay up for it though cuz' she knew it was my favorite. I loved Buffy and wanted to be her for several years running. :p

I also loved Partridge Family and The Brady Bunch, both were in primetime when I was a kid (and dinasours were still roaming the Earth).

As I got older I liked Welcome Back Kotter (which started my life-long crush on John Travolta! ), Mary Tyler Moore, Kojak, Dallas, All in the Family and Saturday Night Live. Oh and All My Children! Started watching that when I was about 10 or so in the early 70s!

Is this a trick to find out how old we are? ;)

Dark Shadows, Nanny and the Professor, The Night Stalker, Brady Bunch, Partridge Family, All the Lucy Shows, Carol Burnette, F Troop...I think I liked TV better back in the day. :confused3

Well, we must be close in age then?? Great minds think alike! ;)

I remember watching "Little House on the Prairie", "Happy Days", and "Laverne & Shirley" the most. LH was my favorite, though!

The Facts of Life and Little House on the Prairie. As a teenager Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman. Dean Cain was the BEST Superman!

I am in the same group as BeattyFamily - Gilligan and Brady Bunch for sure we never missed. And I wanted the Six Million Dollar Man to marry The Bionic Woman in real life and was so mad when they didn't! I remember watching Smothers Brothers, Carol Burnett and Laugh-In with my parents and not getting most of the jokes but enjoying the music and staying up past 9 pm (tee-hee :) ). Does anyone remember Bozo the Clown and Hobo Kelly? They were on after school in the 60's.

Some of the story lines seem so lame now, but I used to wait for my jaw to drop every time the TWILIGHT ZONE (in blak/white, of course) would come on.

The only thing close to being as creative, was KOLCHAK, THE NIGHT STALKER; and as ususal, the current remake is nothing like the original, and is reeeeellly poorly written.

:)

Okay watch me parade my age here,

Got you beat - TV hadn't been invented yet when I was growing up. Well I guess it was invented in the lab somewhere but very, very few people had TVs.

My grandparents in Detroit got one when I was in elementary school. I never watched TV until after I graduated from college.

Sanford and Son reminds me so much of my dad. He ran a junk shop just like that - and worked about that hard (i.e. not very much) too. My brother didn't join the business though.
