What Was Your Discount Today? BAT or AP

I needed one night for the CR before my packge deal kicked in. At first when I called they said they had nothing. So I decided to call back and I got a Tower club room (concierge) for less then my regular tower room. So I took it. The only thing now is I will have to change rooms. Is that a pain to do , has anyone had to do this at the CR? And whats also is a concern is if I miss out on my chances of getting a MK view since I am checking in on a saturday for my package deal instead of the Friday before?

I called this morning and got CB for 94 a night plust tax! Since without the discount, we would have had to use rack rates (we are from South Dakota, so an AP really isn't an option), we are saving over $400!

My girls were so excited this morning, I could hardly get them off to school and daycare!

Just had to post....... Our T/A got us WL for the 21st for 1 night.... she applied the code to our existing ressie and our rate went from $255 (CAA/AAA rate) to $165

Just got off the phone with a very nice CM. Changed Nov 3-10 on AAA rate of $118 per night standard view at POR to 4 nights at CSR (which is what I really wanted) on BAT rate of water view for $111 per night incl. tax and 3 nights at POFQ standard view for $95 per night incl. tax.

The CM had trouble finding discounted rooms with two beds at any given resort for my entire stay.

I'm saving $100 exactly. I will have to change resorts but as DH is not along on this trip that's okay. He wouldn't want the inconvenience, but I really wanted CSR for the water slide for DS12.

It will be my first time on site, so I haven't been sure whether it is worth the extra money compared to off-site hotels. So I'm really glad I got the better deal.

This morning got BAT for our trip to POP 10/2-10/5 (3 nights) for $248.00 including taxes.

Just saw the post for CR for 143/night. We have very early ChefMickey's the morning of our first day at WDW...and it might be very nice to just stay there for the day....but would going over to POP for the other 2 nights be a let down? So used to the monorail and everything!

Had ASMu for 12/26 to 1/1, called yesterday and changed checkin to 12/25(didn't really want to go till after Xmas, but the savings changed my mind) got EWP rate of $49 per night. We added a night to our stay (have two rooms) and saved a total of $757!!! I couldn't pass up that savings, now to figure out how to convience my family to have our XMas on the 24th so we can leave a day early.

I called my friend this morning and gave her the BAT code. She called and got it applied to her reservation at the GF, Garden View, 4 nights, Nov. 16-20. It went from $339/night to $259 (without tax). So with tax, she saves over $350. She was very happy, because she wasn't going to be able to stay at the GF unless she got a code.

My AAA rate for Fort Wilderness was $2.00 cheaper than the BAT code. I guess Disney won't give us campers a break !!!

Called this morning 7:00am for the BAT code was on hold for about an hour...had to give up to go to work...thought well that's it...saw the Florida Passholder code had been released so I called at 1:00pm when I got home from work, I was on the phone a total of 15 minutes...

Spoke with Bruce a wonderful CM, he said this morning was brutal, he was able to appy the Florida Passholder rate to my reservations for Wilderness lodge Dec 14-18...standard view $109.00 a night..with tax $121.53 (two rooms before discount $1953.48...two rooms after discount $972.32)

It's good to live in Florida...

We went from having a AAA rate of something like $1666. for the WL woods view (12/3-12/11) to $1074. with some code-but I don't know what one!!

We had a lot of trouble with money we had put down on deposits-we originally had a split ressie of WL & Poly, and when I changed it to just WL, the money I had paid on the Poly was all mixed up, some of which was initially unaccounted for. It's all straightened out now-and we still have the awesome rate!!! I feel like some pixie dust blew our way!!

Thanks to Dis Boards-I wouldn't have been as on top of things had it not been for the various threads and all the great people who frequent them!!!

BAT - POFQ $85 a night December 8-12. I was on hold for 45 minutes this morning, but it was worth it to save $95 off my AAA rate. I wanted WL, but only concierge was available.

I went from AAA rate of $546 @ CBR (Oct 21 four nights), to yesterdays search for WL-didn't happen, called at about 8:00, and although I only had to wait on hold for 5 minutes, they were booked, got AKL for $600 pool view at EWP rate. Then today called about availability again nothing, and got BAT rate applied to my AKL room for an increase of $70..WHY would I go UP in price? The only reason I would buy an AP is for room discount, I wouldn't use the park admissions enough in a year. After doing the math, this additional $70 along with the numerous PH passes we have, plus liking the water parks as much as the theme parks, I think it will do much better. But I still can't tell DH that the room is about $165/night, he would totally flip. He would rather stay at a Value resort, which is fine, but the kids like a slide in their pool. And then later today, I called again to see if Savannah view was available....I keep going UP in price, instead of down like everybody else..

BAT all the way! I had a wonderful lady named Mavis after I finally got through at 7:30AM (was on hold from 7:05 after being dropped twice). She manipulated my existing reservations from AKL PV at $149/night for two nights (PIN number I had from a post card) and WL CV at (GROAN) $290/night (rack rate, no discounted rooms for my PIN) to WL CV at $169/night and GF GV at $244/night. Not dramatic savings when you add it up but the convenience of a monarail resort for the Friday that we'll be there (10/8 for the MNSSHP) is worth it. Plus hubby will have his wish of WL for his birthday!

I used BAT for 1 standard room at the Boardwalk Inn 12/24-12/27. First the CM said I don't think you can use this code because it is Holiday period. I didn't say a word even though I knew better . She checked, yes ok what Resort do you want. Boardwalk. Ok your rate is $209 per night for 3 nights and your total is $1,398. Whaaat. Ok, how does $209 per night get you $1398. She tells me it is the tax. Now I am a little worried here. I tell her to check again that is waaaay too much tax. Oh that is for two rooms. Your total will be $699 for 3 nights. Much better! I was thinking of staying at the Dolphin but this is much cheaper.
