What was your best ever view from a resort?

I feel deprived! In 15 trips I've never had a truly awesome view anywhere (stayed at 10 different resorts). But most views have been nice, never awful. Maybe I'll get an awesome one at BCV next time (I hope, I hope).

Number 1 best view: View of Bay Lake from the Contemporary Tower.

Number 2 : View from our veranda aboard the Disney Magic.

Number 3: View of the Neverland Pool at Disneyland Hotel.

That's tough--I don't think I can pick just one.

Our Poly lagoon concierge ground floor room (#1512) had a great view of the castle, and we could see the MK fireworks.

Our AKL savannah view room had a wonderful view of the savannah and Arusha rock. The animals are so mesmerizing.

You could see the fireworks from Illuminations from our balcony at the Yacht Club lagoon concierge (room 5151).

I can't wait to go back! :)

Playground by Touchdown. We saw a rabbit.

We had a waterview room in Tahiti at the Polynesian. We had a perfect view of the castle and the evening fireworks and the water parade. It was the most amazing view!

Our best view had to of been at the GF. We could lay in bed and see the castle. We had the perfect view.

Probably 5th floor BCV. I had a direct view of Tower of Terror really big straight off the balcony, and if I looked out to the right, I could see some of the World Showcase buildings, and at night there was a direct view of the lighted Boardwalk sign. I could not believe it when I went out on the balcony to see what the view was. The only room in my mind that might equal that type of view is a MK view tower room at the CR.

Our best view was at the 12th floor of the Contemporary MK view. It was awesome! We overlooked the MK and could see the GF and Polynesian as well as watch the monorails make their loop. At night we watched the castle change colors and could watch the fireworks from our balcony. We took video of the view from the balcony and when we zoomed in, we could see the little logs dropping down Splash Mountain! We also enjoyed watching the ferries and water mice on Seven Seas Lagoon.

Last year we were upgraded from a 2 bdrm villa at the BCV to the Presidential Suite at the Beach Club! We had a total of 4-5 balconies and could see all sides from Epcot and Illuminations to the Boardwalk to the walkway from the beach to the hotel. It was truly magic! I'm a little afraid to take DD (5) back though, 'cause we'll NEVER get ANYTHING like that again! She may be disappointed in our next room!

I would have to say the last one we went to. The backside of the Contemporary. You could see the island and the pool and the people boating.:D

Our best views have come from each side of the CR. The first time we got MK side. It makes you feel like you never really leave the park when you can look out at any time and you are that close. Watching the castle change colors at night, ahhhhhh, I could watch forever. And how great to see the fireworks without any crowd wearing your pj's and having a yummy snack!

The next time we got Bay Lake side and I was pleasantly surprised by how much we liked it. I actually think I prefer it! Since we had our newborn along, I could stay in the room while she napped and still see my kids at the pool with DH. The constant activity on the water and at the pool was very entertaining. The best perk was watching the fireworks at Epcot from our balcony each night.

So on one side you have MK and the other so many things to see. I don't know what we'll do if we stay there again! :earseek:

The view from our balcony at the Dolphin in February 2002. We faced Epcot and Spaceship Earth and we had a perfect view of Illuminations! Depending on which way the wind was blowing, we could also hear the music from the Tapestry of Dreams parade!

We also had a real pretty view of the Grotto Pool area on our most recent trip in August this year. We could also see the Tower of Terror!

I think the Swan and Dolphin resorts have some of the best views on WDW property!
