What was the most embarassing or hilarious moment you had at WDW?

You just made my morning. I thought my crazy mother and her insane family were the only ones who ever used that expression. I grew up on it, have used it hundreds of times, and I get the strangest looks. I always knew that the Youngstown / Western PA area spoke its own language, but I never knew it got outside of the area.

Well there was the time that my family and I were staying at the Contemporary and I closed the middle elevator down when I..how should I put it...sprung a gas leak. We had just switched over from 5 days at the Boardwalk and I think all of that Disney food and beer finally rebelled against my system. My brother and I had gone up to our room to get something and when we returned to the elevators about ten minuets later the one we had just rode up on was out of service. When we reached the lobby there was a cleaning crew in there disinfecting the thing. Boy was my face red. All I could think was that they probably had a camera in there and knew that I was the culprit.

I forgot to pay for our Town Car.

I was SOOOO organized for our trip! I had everything all documented, tip envelopes for Mousekeeping, tip envelopes for Town Car arrival and departure, etc. I had called the Town Car company before we left home to ask if I needed to give them my credit card info. They said no, just give it to the driver. Fine.

We arrive at the resort, I jump out, we gather up the luggage, and I go to check in with DS. I left DH outside. It took him FOREVER to come in, and when he finally did he was sort of red and he yells across the lobby "You didn't PAY for the Town Car!!!" I guess he thought I was coming back out?
The driver opened the tip envelope and discovered I hadn't included the FEE for the service so he sent DH to get me.

During the last daily performance of The Festival of the Lion King, I was stricken with an urgent need to visit the restroom. My visit there became quite prolonged by successive bouts of intestinal distress. Meanwhile, the show has ended and DW informs me via our walkie-talkies that the park is now closing. I proceed to explain my situation in somewhat graphic detail, to which she replies that two young female CMs were standing with her listening in. Eventually I emerged from the restroom, only to find that the two young CMs were still there waiting to escort us out to the gates. Needless to say, further conversation was quite awkward.

These stories are so awesome! I love threads like this.

My story isn't that embarrassing, but here goes:

Last year on my disneymoon my DH and I were at the evening EMH at MK. i was standing in front of the castle trying to get a picture of it while it was purple (I know you've tried this before, don't lie!) If you've been to one of the old EMHs you know that around the castle all the big-name characters come out for pictures/autographs. It was about 2am and there was no one around except the characters. So anyway, I was having such a hard time getting the picture that I finally gave up and just stood there with the camera as the castle went through the whole spectrum. After a couple of colors my DH started laughing. I thought he was laughing at me so i continued to stand there holding my camera, ready to strike, when Dh says "I wish we had another camera." I take the camera down to look at him and see that he is looking behind me. Slowly I turn around to see Dale RIGHT behind me acting like he was trying to get the picture too. I little crowd had appeared from somewhere and they all started laughing. It was quite the moment. i have some of the best pictures of Chip and Dale, including one that the CM took with us in front of the PURPLE castle!

This din't happen to me but my PopPop.

My Poppop and my Aunt were sitting ahead of us on the bus ride back to the hotel. My Aunt was having some stomach troubles, yea "Stomach troubles" **cough cough**.And was moaning "Oh Bob I'm not gonna make it." My Popop was so embarresed he started to sweat as she kept moaning and groaning about not being able to wait!! Meanwhile my Mom, Mommom and sister and I in the back of the bus crying and laughing at my Poppop's face.








She made it.

Way back in 1984, while on my high school senior class trip to WDW, I got my period while sitting in the Country Bears Jamboree. And I was wearing white shorts! When packing, my mom suggested I pack some feminine products but I told her I didn't need them. What a mistake. I wanted to die. So there I am, a high school student with little money, spending it on a pair of navy shorts in a gift shop.
