It was so strange. It seemed vaguely familiar but could not quite put my finger on it. It was big and yellow and bright and warm!! And because I was outside planting plants for my mom at her house and wearing a sleeveless top, I believe it actually changed the color of the skin tone on my shoulders and arms!!

Does anyone have any clue?????

   All I saw today were clouds...and now it is raining (again). Tomorrow is all rain too.:( Enjoy some of that big yellow rarity for all of us!:D

A sight to behold. :sunny: It only took a weeks vacation, but boy I needed sunglasses even in the house. My eyes were getting accustom to the gloom.

Lol Tulirose, that same vaguely familiar "thingie" was hovering over my yard yesterday also! :p

I managed to get the grass cut and a couple of pots planted, but today, everything is back to normal....sigh...overcast, rainy, and unseasonably cool.

Ok Tuli did you do something with that big Yellow Thinkie, forgot what it called. Someone has taken it away, I wondering if it ever going to return. We need some sharing here I willing to share water for warmth and color.

Can you believe this one, our town implemented a water ban as of today. These people actually get paid to make decisions like this. 7 inches of rain in 10 days, with more on the way.

Gee maybe DD is right, the end is near. Instead of planting maybe I should be building an ark.

beautiful day yesterday for a soccer game and a tap recital....today it is pouring with flood advisories!

I don't know WHAT happened to that Big Yellow Thingie that was in my sky on Friday. It is raining to beat the band today! and yesterday was not too much better.

It figures. I spend the one nice day doing things for my mom and got nothing done at home. Although yesterday's rain held off for a bit, it was very cool and we had our Saturday errands to run so no gardening was done. I did manage, however, to find some time to climb up on the roof and clean out those gutters! And just in time might I add!! (Yukkie job - very yukkie job = usually the electric blower is used and everything just blows right out but everything in the gutters this year was so wet and damp and STINKY!!! The blower didn't work very well. I had to MANUALLY REMOVE all that stuff [wanna use curse word here but being good] YUKKIE!!!)

:( I wish that big yellow thingie would return.....:(

I'm glad you made it down from the roof safely, Tulirose! :)

You know, it's like we can't string two or three nice days in a row, and the temperatures are still a bit too cool.

We haven't done a sacrifice in a long time, have we? ;) :smooth:

Hmmmm..... where's that Patrick when you need him! LOL!

Patrick has been pretty busy, Tulirose. I'm thinking we might need a new male sacrifice for the Goddess of all Gardens. :smooth:

OK I'm tired of wet feet and no :sunny: Someone on this forum needs to be SACRIFICED

That big yellow thingie better come back I miss it so much my poor sump pump is working overtime and
I'm getting house fever!

I can't take it anymore!

I'm going outside and doing a rain dance backwards

Anybody want to join me?
