What was refurb @ Beach Club?

DH is looking at Beach Club and said the reviews he's read says the rooms are older and a bit run down. Wasn't it just refurbed? If so, is it still undergoing refurb or is all complete?

The BC was refurbed two, maybe three years ago. We’ve stayed in the refurbed rooms twice and they are gorgeous. Check out the BC/YC resort thread. It’s very informative and the people on that thread are super nice and helpful.

We stay there in August annually. Even 2 years ago the 2 rooms we had were still new looking in every way. Maybe we just were unlucky, but last August (2017) our room (just booked 1 last year) wasn't in good shape at all. So maybe its luck of the draw, now that the refurb is a couple of years old. (The room was also really dirty - like crumbs in obvious places, lipstick on the drapes. So maybe we just had a room in an area of less experienced housekeeping. Hugely disappointing because the prior year the room was so nice and clean.)
