What was everyones experience booking the Studios Moonlight Magic events?

Seems like they have the process refined pretty well. I got in line at 8:01am eastern for the event on the 20th, with 2,500 hundred people in line ahead of me. Was booked and through the process by 8:17am.

I think it depends on event interest. We booked Moonlight Magic for DVC members the first night we arrived at Magic Kingdom last week a few days after the sign up page was open to members staying on site and it worked fine.

Really a nice event too where we were able to hit most of the rides we wanted to go on with little wait.

I logged in this morning at 7:30. When it opened I was #451. I had a message - there are 50% of the spaces still available - your in good shape. NOT! after 30 minutes it stopped at #109 and said it was full. Just for SAG I logged in on a different computer at 9:02 and was #2536.

I like that they told you when they "paused" the process, and also that they told you that one of the dates was closed so I knew which day to pick but still disappointing that I couldn't get in.

I was on 10 minutes early, and was trying to book with my DVC member # AND my reservation #. I did not read it correctly, that I only needed my DVC member #. Lol. Luckily I realized my mistake with only 10% of tickets remaining and got my tickets!!

I was not able to get in. At first the messages were encouraging, then the process stopped and no movement, then all of a sudden all places were filled.

Did anyone get their tickets who didn't get an email, even though you have a DVC reservation? If so, what steps did you take to get them? I never get the emails, but I have a DVC room booked during the May EPCOT event, so I'm going to probably have to try without the email. I'm a little nervous.

You just go to the event page on the member site....when the registration page is open there will be an RSVP link there.

What time can you start joining the queue online? We're looking at going to the August AK MM, and as I am based in the UK I will be up in plenty of time for a 8am EST reservation.

Very easy! Waited less than a minute, and was not in a queue line! Signed up and logged off at 9:05 am!! MUCH better than last year and MM at AK!!!
