We were doing the kingdom this past weekend and cannot remember what was in Philharmagic before. Can anyone help? Thanks a bunch!!

:earsgirl: ]

The Lion King!! A wonderful show much like Voyage of the Little Mermaid at MGM, with live actors doing puppets, etc. It was great, but not as good as Lion King at AK, and I do love the Philharmagic!!!

Thanks so much! Now, to really test you, what was in it before Lion King? I do remember LK, but we never did it! Philharmagic is GREAT and is my husbands favorite!!! Thanks again!!

Before The Lion King there was a 3D film called Magic Journeys. I vaguely remember it, but it was a long time ago!

Does anybody remember "Toad's Wild Ride?" It was over that way somewhere - I can't remember where, though. :confused3

The Many Adventure's of Winnie the Pooh replaced Mr. Toad's Wild Ride, and its actually at the other side of Fantasyland, near Snow White's Scary Adventure

Sorry, my memory only goes back to Lion King!! I do remember taking a ride on 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, though.

Thanks, TinkerBell_325! We were trying to remember where it had been located during our last visit to WDW. You have a better memory than I do, that's for sure.

I remember that one, too! It's a shame it's gone - we enjoyed it.

Mr Toads Wild ride was in fantasyland at the magic Kindom. It was across the way from the 20,000 leagues under the sea submarine ride. Or to look at it another way; walk thru the castle, turn right at Snow Whites Ride, go past the gift shop and you are there. There is one of Mr Toads Cars for Auction on the Disney Auction.

Since we're on the subject.....

My mom and I were remembering some sort of ride from the 1970's or 80's that was in a big room with a screen all around. I believe people sat on the floor or stood, and I think the floor moved as the movie played on the screen. I remember feeling like I was flying, or driving, or something?

What was this attraction? Anyone know?

It was in Tomorrowland, where the Timekeeper is now. It was called CircleVision or something like that. It was alot like the theaters in Canada and China at Epcot. I remember seeing it when I was 4 or 5 (in the early 70's) and the Vienna Boy's Choir surrounded you singing. I remember being very bored, not wanting to stand, and wanting to go on a ride instead!

Funny, all I remember being there was Legend of The Lion King, and then since it took me 15 years between WDW trips, the one before it was the original Mickey Mouse Review... which was sort of an Audio Animatronic version of what is there now! Everything old is new again!!!

Hehehe, less than 2 weeks from now I get to see Philharmagic for the first time! YAY!
