OK...so you've been to the parks a bazillion times over the years. You can recite the script on various rides, you know CM's my name (without looking at their nametag), you've pretty much done it all. I would like to know what unique thing do you and your family do. We like to sit at different hotels and people watch, or visit the beach at GF, just different out of the way stuff.

Thanks ahead of time for your input! :teeth:

I don't know if this unique, but we always head straight to MK and our old time fav HM first ride - always.Next is to get a Dole Whip I love them....I dream about them. When in Epcot we always go on Norway ride...cant miss that. Then we start our Drink around the world and start with a tri colored Margarita and work our way around. I sit out Germany....cause I can't wait for France Champagne Its soooooo much fun!

Almost the same, so I guess we are not really all that unique.
The first thing we do in MK, is Pirates of the Carribbean and then a dole whip.:p

You can try to be the family that opens Toon Town in the morning.
If your group is picked, you get a private trip through Mickey's house conducted by Mickey himself! You also get a certificate that says you opened Toon Town. Walking up to the door at Mickey's house, knocking, and having MM answer the door is worth the price of admission:D

Again I don't know if it's unique, but I like to take my time going through innovations, and then sit at the bakery next to my favorite Epcot fountain, and eat a delicious dessert, drink some coffee and enjoy the fountain dancing to the music.

We always go and visit our Walk Around the World Brick first. Lay down on the ground and take our traditional photo with the brick. It's a short walk from the MK entrance going toward the GF. It's in a very peaceful spot. There's something that's very "coming home" about it. :D

Our special moment is the last thing we do - We always have flown the same SW flight home - the times have changed, but only by 15 minutes - the flight leaves MCO around 3 pm, so we always spend our last few hours in MK, doing our favorites! We have always stayed at the CR, but last trip we tried AKL for the last 3 nights - loved it, but what to do about our goodbye ritual?
We drove to the CR, asked for, and received a 3 hour parking pass (It was a quiet weekday morning!). We parked our car, said our last goodbyes on the Concourse - we always say Goodbye to the 5 legged goat, and headed out to MK. After a few spins on Splash, BTMRR, Space, Buzz, The CBJ, and Aladdin (that ride is why we started going to DW-my daughter saw the commercial, and swore she needed to ride that!) We grab a last souvenir - a final Dole Whip (to eat on the way out), and board the resort monorail - we always take a picture of the girls against the fence of the monorail, the tradition makes it easier to leave, knowing we will come back as soon as we can.

Here is December 2002's shot - Dad says - Who loves Disney World? Every shot, they are tired but happy - Sarah has her new Rajah - Jennie is showing off her completed collection of the whimsical Festival of the Lion King pins (she is not a thrill ride lover!) - and Amanda has the memories of dropping with Mom on Tower of Terror!

We hit the monorail back to the CR, climb into the rental to head off to MCO, back to the freezing cold White Mountains of NH.

Can't wait to see next year's picture!

Is there some great secret to being picked or is it just who ever mad dashes from the front gate and gets there first?

Thanks
Sandy
