Does anyone know if Tide Free (no dyes, etc.) is available at the vending machine or in the mercantile at WLV? I believe that regular Tide is provided as a starter in one and two bedroom units, but we use the Tide Free for our little one's clothes.

It wasn't in the vending machine at SSR. I didn't check the store. We just brought some in a little Gladware container that we put inside a Ziplock bag in case of leaks. Didn't take much space, and we knew we'd have what we needed that way.

Ditto with taking it along here - I tried to find it in a small container and found the All Small & Mighty to be the smallest bottle - I actually just used most of a bottle at home and took it, it fit is a gallon size zip top bag - just in case of spills.

I agree -- you should just bring some with you just to be safe. Plus you'll save money over buying it out of the machine (if they even have it). I sometimes send away for free samples of laundry detergent and always save them for traveling as they usually come in a one-load size and are easy to pack.

I second the All Small & Mighty. They have it in free and clear - that's also what I use. They also have it in HE free and clear. Not sure if VWL got new washers, but BWV and AKV have the new HE washers.

Hmm I'm still finding out about all this stuff. We are trying to decide if we will even be checking luggage. If not I may be bring some powder. I guess I can always disolve it in a bit of water beforehand.
