I only have 500 people in my school and 180 in my grade, so cliques aren't a huge thing. Honestly each set of cliques in every grade is different. But for the juniors (that's my grade) it kind of goes like this:
Girls:
~the group that's trashy and were loose with guys from an early age. They may be considered "popular" but it's totally not for the right reasons.
~the emo-type clique. I only say emo because they dress like it. And they drink, do drugs, smoke, all that. They're also usually the ones who cause and are involved in drama, more so than the trashy girls.
~the "perfect" girls. Those are my old friends. They're skinny and pretty, extremely smart...and major snobs, even though they're known as the nice ones.
~the normal, nice, but diverse group. That's me and my friends. We don't really have a set description, and we have a lot of different types of people in our group, looks-wise, and definitely personality-wise.
~gosh, I really don't know what to call this group...I guess nerds or something, but that doesn't really explain them, plus it sounds mean. They're just kind of weird, and aren't too social. Sadly, they're made fun of, and a lot of people don't even know them. I'm friends with a couple of them.
~the preppy, really girly-girl, rich girls. I say rich because they flaunt their money. There are other rich kids, but these girls make it obvious that they are. This is the biggest clique, and is the only one that has somewhat of a queen bee leader person.
Boys:
~the jocks. They're usually dating with trashy girls. They all play sports (mainly basketball and football) and most of them are jerks. I honestly have only known two guys in that huge group that are actually pretty nice.
~the emo guys. They hang out with the girls of the same name, and do the same things. They are also really involved in friend or girl drama.
~the weird/nerdy guys. They hang out with the nerdy girls. But unlike those girls who get made fun of, the guys in this group don't that much.
~everyone else. These are the guys who hang out with my group, my old group of friends, and the preppy girls. Not much more to say about them.
