Looking for a new camera. My DSL is just too big to carry all day, but I want something better than my phone. I'm curious about camera that wirelessly send your photos. Please share your loves!!

I cannot imagine being in the parks without my DSLR. I do downsize a bit though. I used to carry everything in a huge backpack which would kill my back by the end of the day. Now I use a sling pack and carry only 2-3 lenses, cut the weight in half. There are some real nice compact cameras out there now that run the whole gamut of budgets, sorry cannot give you any specific advice.

I usually take my Canon SX40 which is a fancy schmancy point and shoot. I LOVE the pics it takes. This will be my first trip with a 4 year old so I'm going to try it the first day and see if it's too much of a pain. If it is I have a Samsung WF250 which has wi-fi and takes pretty decent pics. I also have a very small Sony Cybershot that's waterproof so I can still get some Splash pics *lol*

I'm a professional photographer and don't take my DSLR and multiple lenses or external flash, etc. It's too much for me to carry all day... and I don't want to miss the excitement with the kids by changing a lens, or changing my settings. I use a pocket point and shoot at Disney, and it works like a charm. It's light weight and easy to carry. The pics still look gorgeous, and even though they are not "RAW" photos, I can convert a JPEG to a RAW if I really wanted to. But the pics turn out really great. They make so many nice point and shoots these days, with great resolution and zoom.

I find the GoPro camera works great for me! I'm able to get a lot in a single photoh because of the fisheye lens and because it is virtually indestructible I don't have to worry so much about it getting wet or dropped!

On my last trip, I alternated my nikon d90 with a cross body strap with a panasonic lumix lx5.

We take our Canon G12. It is compact, but still gives my husband th choice in settings that he likes and shoots in raw

We picked up a RX100 Sony camera for our Honeymoon. It worked out great for us, but it is expensive for a point and shoot camera. We were taking a trip of our lifetime though so it was worth it for us though.

Love my samsung st150! Transfers photos wirelessly online to any social media site like you mentioned you were interested in. It's super lightweight and easy to carry. You can also use your phone as a remote. Your phone displays what the camera lens is picking up and you can click shoot from your phone. I recommend it!

My D3000 Nikon.....in a sling case but mostly it's out ready to shoot...

Hey, it's why I bought it...better pictures than my old Olympus, and phone cameras are just plain crap.....

When I take pictures, it's not just point and shoot, sort of plan and frame shots, give some thought as to where I am, with who and what we're seeing and doing...can't beat a good DSL camera...

This. I am an amateur but I have some some work and done portraits etc, and I have the big fancy camera (canon 60D with a whole slew of lenses), but it's too much of a beast to take in the parks. I am so tempted to take it but it's heavy. I'll probably take my canon s100 with me. I can shoot manual with that if I want. I'm always afraid that I won't get the best shots though but the thought of lugging the beast around scares me lol
