Wondering what kind of bag I should consider using for my frist trip to US.
In the past while visiting WDW, I have used both fanny packs and back pack.
Although I will not be using a fanny pack as my child has informed me that "fanny backs are old school MOM"... :lmao:

But but but....old school is cool!

Plus hip packs are allowed on all rides. Backpacks have to get stuffed in lockers.

Okay, so are hip packs the same thing as fanny packs (although I prefer the name hip packs! :p )? And you can take these packs on all the rides??? If so I'll just be old school and use the hip pack, at my age I don't really care if I'm cool or not! :upsidedow

And I agree with jewell I will have to be "OLD SCHOOL" :lmao: I really don't like the idea of using a locker that seens like a major pain....
Guess the 13 yr old (going on 30) will just have to DEAL n BE SEEN with her UN COOL MOM !!! :rotfl2:

luf the mouse, I'll have my 15 yr old son and my 13 year old niece with me, sometimes it's fun to embarrass the kids!!! :joker: Seriously, though I'm with you, I think getting a locker for the rides seem like a pain to me too.

I like these type. Mine is about half that size...or the size of one pouch.

damo, those look like belly bags..

yes, i'm old school and like them.
you can only stuff so much in your bra so the belly, fanny, hip bags are heaven sent..........

using the "stuffing system" is a lot more embarrassing for the young teen than the waist packs.

be kewl.........set a trend.........wear the waist, belly, hip, fanny packs

I wanted something cool that my kids wouldn't mind walking around with me wearing so I made this...DH still called it a fanny pack, I called it a hipster lol. It slips right onto my belt! I guess it all depends on what all you want to carry. My best accessory is DH with all his pockets on his shorts....

I got that same statement from my daughter! I have been using the Baggalini Bon Voyage bag. Tried one and loved it so much bought another. Lightweight, great size but holds alot, long shoulder strap, good assortment of colors. Try bagsbuy.com. They have a bg assortment of bags in all different styles and sizes if you want to get away from the fanny pack. Good Luck.

MinnieLee can you take those Baggalini Bon Voyage bags on the rides?

pixeegrl, the belt pouch thing you made was VERY cute, but I'm not that talented! I can't even hem my own pants! :p

No problem at all on the rides. You can still leave the strap across you and tuck it in between and whoever you are on the ride with and you won't strangle yourself! The strap is long and adjustable.
